Was the cross-progression for PS4/PS5 added recently?

I saw that there's now the Option to Link other Plattforms with a Playstation-Account: https://account.bhvr.com/account/my-account/providers
As far as i remember, this Option wasn't there last time i checked it and that was only about two weeks ago.
I can't find any Annoucement that this Feature was added. Do i remember wrong or did BHVR simply forgot to announce it?

I hope they really go further with this. I'll kinda pray for it that they add the other Plattforms too and make it work soon. Lets gooo BHVR, you Guys can do it soon!

i linked 2 account and nothing happened, i dont understand why this Playstation do here, link was OK, but, in game, same.

Im shocked with this, because this feature is a massive require for the community and BHVR add this thing without post or anything and every person freaking out right now and noone understand right whats happening. and of course i supposed to say... BHVR coming soon cut any hype and will say " ooopps, this is just for friends list "

According to this source someone at behaviour confirmed that they are working on it and that there will be more news this year. The post was from the 23rd of May 2023

We'll have Playstation, so we'll get Xbox and Switch soon i guess.

A Bug maybe? Or it's not fully ready yet? It's kinda weird that they add one of the most requested features people asking for years without even making a Post.

Even if it is just something like that, they should just tell us. I hope they'll tell us soon or even add it soon. You can do it BHVR, we believe in you guys.

I'm mad impressed by this if its a genuine thing... I play on console cause I have joint problems in my hands that forced me to retire from PC gaming 3 years ago.
I'm hoping one day to get my surgery to fix it, but ofc I've started playing DBD on PS5 instead... being able to sync up and play on either without losing progress (depending on how well I can use my hands) would be amazing 🤘😁🤘
