hello
hello, so many are talking about skill
ok but where is tunneling and camping as a killer skill
there are nervously pulled through the zero sense medi kit RIP
as long as the killers tunnel and camp i will not play this game anymore
nobody wants to be facecamped away
before you start annoying perks you should take care of the tunneling and camping there you have enough to do
dead by daylight is a pvp game and a killer shouldn't cry if he doesn't get a surv, he should accept it
and i think everyone wants to play in peace everyone who face camps or tunnels because you have no skill should ban you for life in my opinion then you don't understand the game the perks are annoying the perks don't always ban the tunnels

becoming good is in the eye of the beholder what has tunneling and camping to do with good?

Knowing when and how to use them as a tactic to maximum effect is the skill.
Losing 5 gens while you stand next to a hook... bad, but defending a hook at the right time snowballing into multiple downs... good.
Same goes for tunneling, sinking the whole game into a single bad chase losing a heap of gens... bad, but eliminating a player early to maximize early game advantage... good.
Knowing when to apply these to maximum effect is skill.
"dead by daylight is a pvp game and a killer shouldn't cry if he doesn't get a surv, he should accept it" Just as you shouldn't cry about being unable to participate in the objective as survivor, its a PVP game not everyone is gonna play how you want them too and that's ok you should accept it.
"play in peace" what does that even mean, you do understand the concept of the game right is to escape from the killer, the keyword being killer.
It sounds more like "play my way or I'll quit", the only answer to that is well then you should stop playing this isn't for you.

you want killers banned just for tunneling, even if its necessary. in fact you think that if the killer might lose, they should just lie down and take it instead of tunneling to have a chance. quite simply get good.

every killer has one skill, uses it correctly, that's enough, you don't have to tunnel

tunneling or camping is not necessary to win a game get good

The irony of this thread.
dead by daylight is a pvp game and a killer shouldn't cry if he doesn't get a surv, he should accept it

yes, as a surv you have to accept it if you tunnel or camp, which will not change anyway

talk to me when you have more than 20 hours <3

you can make gens slower the killer has perks to prevent the gen ruch from running

I never said you had to tunnel, but its just another tactical tool in the killer arsenal and choosing the advantageous person to chase at a given time can mean the difference between kills or no kills.
So if a player chooses to tunnel they can, if they do it well then good on them for maximizing their play.
If you do get tunneled well then shame on you for failing to avoid the killer is just as legit an argument as your shame on the killer for tunneling one.
Nobody needs to tunnel... but you can if you want and that's ok.

no-one said anything about gen rush, but focusing on gens for the maximum duration of the hook timer against a camping killer is a good survivor play. You just need to go for the rescue once you spread a ton of pressure on the gens as a team.

I know right, I avoided making mention of that but it did make me smile.
And they call the DBD community entitled but where's the evidence eh?

I simply couldn´t resist.

"DBD is a pvp game and if the survivor goes down they should accept it and hook suicide." There. I turned it around. You see how ridiculous this sounds?
Why shouldn't survivors and killers try to go for a comeback? Do you give up every game as soon as something doesn't go your way? I should hope not because otherwise you might want to touch some grass.
The only way to completely get rid of tunneling and camping is to replace killers by bots. And even that wouldn't suffice as long as the killer remains on the map after hooking someone or they don't hook all survivors in order.

Tunneling is less toxic then camping to be honest.
Even camping to draw survivors and down them is just bad and weak play. It's not just PVP, it's asymmetrical. Camping is always toxic and not really challenging for both sides. But with the coming anti camp changes that will be gone.
Tunneling can be annoying but if you get better, you can survive longer and other teammates can do gens or take a protection hit.

As a killer, your anguish sustains me. 🤤

Because, it's easer for the DEVs to leave it the way it is instead of improving the game so camping and tunneling are no longer need.
Like I said before, and I will say it again if you continue to keep playing then you really don't have a problem with camping or tunneling.
