The forums have been super quiet as of late
Less than 2 weeks ago, there were threads everywhere about MTF, Wesker, Skull Merchent, Larry, and so on.
And now it's just so quiet. I kinda miss the chaos

idk, it makes room for different discussions, which is nice.

The majority of the threads made here by players are posted roughly 1.5 minutes after they lose a match. So it's just a tornado of emotion and anger. I'd be lying if I said I missed that. Despite that, you can find players on here that you can have enjoyable conversations with. I've booped more snoots on here in the last few months than I have in-game.
I oversee a multiplayer stream for a friend, and sometimes certain players will turn up almost everyday, and despite winning more than most, as soon as they lose a match they go into chat and have a meltdown. The person who won doesn't even get a chance to enjoy the moment as there's a ton of hysteria that kills any fun vibes. Despite being offered constructive advice on multiple occasions they continue their behaviour so now they get timed out every time they rage post in chat.
Some people, especially online, really don't care about the social settings they visit. They are prepared to poison the atmosphere for everyone as long as they get to make themselves feel better by screeching at the top of their lungs. The world needs less of that.

The Anniversary and event hype have faded, so many returning players have dipped on out again.
From what I can tell the majority of the forum goers are either brand new or the veterans, both groups like I said have gone lurking again.
The average casual player (like my unskilled ass) I don't think posts here a lot and definitely do not comment much on other's threads. It's mostly raging or one-sided nurf-this's.

Well it will get chaotic again cause this Tuesday nic cage comes out. We still don’t have a dev update on any changes so if Sadako wasn’t changed there will be chaos

We've discussed enough of a problem, do we need anything more?
Only time will actually fix it now.

That's because a lot of threads get moved to the Feedback subsection, if you want to see the more extensive debates over the game, check over there.

Probably because nothing much gets done with the feedback unless it's the PTB or bug reports. What's the point of making discussions about MfT if after the outcry nothing got done? What's the point of giving examples of Skull Merchant holding games hostage if we have to wait months for an update to her? What's the point of talking about how terrible matchmaking is when nothing gets done about it? What's the point of asking for higher controller sensitivity if it doesn't even get acknowledged. What's the point of talking about laggy servers if nothing gets done about it? What's the point of talking about VPN killers if it doesn't get acknowledged? What's the point of talking about tunneling when Decisive Strike (the only perk that can counter it) just gets nerfed instead? What is the point?
Sometimes things do get done about certain issues. I am happy about that. It gives me motivation to upvote discussions and certain replies. I'm starting to lose it though.
Even after the Skull Merchant situation vs Team Eternal we haven't gotten any acknowledgement from the devs that they are aware how broken she is and that one discussion has like 100+ replies and a ton of upvotes.
