people dcing intentionally
so i saw a thread on this. so i have my own question. so about less than a week ago. i had a bunch of toxic swfs. trying to bully ds me you name it. caught the obsession at the exit gate. already had wasted his ds. he messed up i downed him i had killed 1 of the others. 3 was left. another had escaped all gens done. 1 still inside. he dced to give the other guy the hatch then was salty about being camped. now i reported him for it and them calling me cancer etc. i have shadowplay but honestly i didnt record. fact is cant be bothered recording all my games. but people like this does it make a difference reporting? scum like that. this community sure has a self entitled odd mentality i swear. going on about why im such a low rank when i flattened them to the point he had to dc and rage quit as they couldnt win

DCing is automatically punished, but the percentage required is fairly high (albeit unknown). You don't need to report people for DCing.

It's just that this is a really common discussion that never really goes anywhere. Everyone is gunning for harsher DC penalties, though no one really knows if it'll amount to anything.

I heard that depending of the nature of the toxic comment, reporting it make things handled quite fast.

yeah just wound me up i got the down fair and square at the gate near the pillar dcs to give the guy the hatch. then other team mates moan at being camped and try justify my rank saying i am where i am at that rank as i suck but they was running all around me. lack of logic is astounding. yeah ah well is what it is

It does suck but honestly there's not much you can do about it. At least take solace in the fact that you a) outplayed him and b) essentially denied him of points and a pip.

Yesterday I played a game as Trapper, I found a guy, downed him and he DCs.
"Ok? A bit of an overreaction but they are still 3"
Found another one, down, hook. She DCs on the hook.
"2 DCs and no gens done? Oof"
In the end I let the two Claudettes do the gens and farm a little. Then I let them escape.
I felt bad for those two.
