Remove Prestige Levels From Pre-Game Lobby
Please, I’m begging you.
I have only recently P100’d my main and my games have been MISERABLE ever since. Killers are going out of their way to tunnel, slug and hit me on hook me. I’ve not changed a single thing about the way I play the game except now I’m a P100.
There is absolutely no reason a killer should have this information in the pre-game lobby. We don’t get to see if we are going against a P1 or a P100 Blight until the end of the match! Survivors are not allowed to dodge that, yet they can dodge a lobby with our prestiges shown. Or even worse, bully us in game because of it.
It’s actually ridiculous.

It’s so sad. I worked my butt off during the event and managed to get 56 levels into my main, up to P90. It’s now a week after the event and I am still spreading the Terrormisu love on every match, yet I’m getting tunnelled, slugged, nodded and slashed on hook. I rarely had gameplay like this before I got to P100. It’s obvious that it’s intentional.

Yup, so disappointed at BHVR for not even speaking a word about this in an entire year of this feature being released. Not like theres 5million posts about it here and on reddit. So much for the "more engaging with the community" promise from the 7 Year anni stream...
The only info we got was a short answer in the Q&A thats nothing more like "yo i made a jira ticket about it, now leave me alone".
Big L game and devs, not even like its a HUGE change that would need a lot of effort or anything, they just dont care.

okay, let them hide the prestige, but before that they will remove the bnp and return the bp to everyone who opened them in hundreds on the way p100. I don't want guys in the lobby with 4bnp and mft in every game. I stopped playing because of this.

bnp's are getting nerfed anyways next patch, also every low prestige can bring a bnp aswell what kind of dum argument is this

As I told someone, low prestiges don't have 300bnp and probably came to complete some kind of quest. do you know that on p100 you play endlessly with the best items and addons?

I have Yui P100 and i never bring BNP's and i still have tome challenges to complete. Stop being delusional please.

I avoid BNP like the plague! I can’t hit little skill checks, so never ever use them. This person thinking all P100s have loads sitting around. 🤣

I experience this kind of harassment as a P100 player myself even if my main is not considered toxic or anything at all (I main Jeff), and I'm also not toxic in game. I never was. I don't t-bag, I don't click or similar. I just play the game.
I stopped playing Jeff because I needed a break from all this and the fact that if you have a bad day or match people will tell you in chat how you cheated P100 because "nobody who is so bad has P100". Or I get told that I have no life either because of a P100 or because I have over 6k hrs once I go into a lobby....
And then there are those killers who are lobby shopping and make the match worse for everyone by leaving which leaves you with a try hard Blight.

Sorry to disappoint you. Currently I don't even have 10 BPS on my P100 right now. Not because I use them, but because they are expensive and I only get the cheap things from the web and therefore I don't collect them.
And as P100 I don't need BPS, I just use an event Toolbox (=Commodious Toolbox) with charge addons if I really want to do gens. But that is boring.
Just give me a yellow flashlight with a brown battery. I'm happy with that. And I got 600 of these (1000 of the addon).

first we made sure that an anonymous mode appeared, where I can not send a complaint about a scoundrel who ruined the game for everyone (sometimes with cheats), view his profile or send it to the developers. now you also want to hide the swf so that the lvl 1 killer has no information that he is going up against x4 p100. keep going guys, you will kill the game

i think i heard them say they were going to make it so you could hide your prestige, somewhere in the anniversary livestream. i too have gotten my rebecca to 100 and since then its like im not allowed to touch her anymore. but strangely enough its not because of what character i have at 100, its because of SWF bully squads having full 100 teams which are what killers associate any 100 with, and asume that all 100s are elite bullies so they will treat you like one regardless.

actualy it may have even been one of the roadmap update speaches on steam that they mentioned it, im 100% certain they are going to add hideable prestige though

How does it make any difference to the "lvl 1 killer" when i play a low prestige character instead of a P100?
Please elaborate how it affects the outcome of the match if nothing but the visual of my character and the number above the head change, im really exited to hear your thoughts about it.
Because the only thing I can see is that I spent a shitton of time and BP into my favorite survivor, just to not be able to play them anymore. Hell i even bought skins, just to let them rot on the bench because killers assume the wildest things seeing the number 100 above a character.
Edit: Also what's with your "you want to hide the swf" comment, that doesnt even make any sense in the context of prestige?!

Yeah, I really don't understand the logic behind showing the prestige levels in lobby. It really serves no purpose other than giving the killer info that they really shouldn't be getting anyways.
Who's to say a p100 is going to play a certain way or bring certain items, add-ons, offerings etc.
It really diminishes the integrity of matchmaking if anything else. I keep my survivors low prestige on purpose. The highest I have is p30 on zarina and I still have 5 survivors to get to p3 and then I'm on to p3 on all my killers. I'm at 1750 hrs currently and I am thinking I'll be well over 3000 hrs by the time I p3 my killers.
So yeah, prestige really doesn't mean anything. But for some reason people go apeshit when they see a p100 in the lobby and start playing like it's some sort of major threat. Weird.

friend, you ask me a question to which you yourself give the answer. is it really that hard to understand? I don't understand. ok, a lvl 1 killer is either a beginner or wants to try a new killer for himself, but seeing a p100 guy he understands "he spent many hours and bp". instead of matchmaking, you propose a "hide us" patch. no, friend, let's play fair. how many killers suffered in less than 500 hours against your "many hours"?

That entire reply does not make ANY sense. This has NOTHING to do with Matchmaking or anything, you just cant be that oblivious can you?!
As i said, and i now repeat it once more: I dont play my P100 survivor because people lose their ######### over it. Instead i pick a survivor with low prestige, which is already more or less the same as hiding my prestige right? Please let me know if you could follow so far.
So, the only difference with not showing prestige is that i can go back to my favorite survivor instead of having to play one that i dont like, just because he has a low prestige level. So far still able to catch up?
So again, please read slowly and carefully: what exactly is your concern about hiding the prestige level, when from killer perspective its already hidden the second i pick a different survivor? Tell me please, because all i want is to play Yui and right now im literally forced to not play her in order to get a normal match.

People stop playing their P100 because of harassment and killers losing their mind over a stupid number above their head. There is no reason for it to be shown before the match, as already seen with the survivor ranks they removed for the exact same reason.
You went from "its unfair to the killer" to "its not a problem for a friend of mine". Ok, cool, still does not make any sense, and you still fail to deliver a proper reason why it should not be hidden, so why do you even keep commenting?

True, it just sometimes makes me a bit furious that BHVR is ignoring it for so long. It's such a small change and they should be fully aware of the problem but they just dont care...

Absolutely yes please to hiding prestige. Being a P100 just means you get dodged, tunneled, and camped every single game. It's so tiring.

I only use auto-buy on low levels (1-20), rarely higher and certainly not on Lvl 50. I'm just not that interested in BNPs.

you, with the previous guy, are trying to expose personal problems for everyone. you want a game where everyone farts pink clouds and butterflies fly in the sky, and instead of chase music, something relaxing. but this is horror with killers, completely different people online. welcome or goodbye

What did I do to you that you need to comment like this? I just stated that I often get harassed when I play my P100. It might not be the same for you (different location & different MMR) but it happens for me and I am not the only one here obviously. And I don't need rainbows and unicorns. I can deal with this ######### but I know others can't and that's why I would like an option to hide it.
The Devs did the same mistake when grades/ranks were visible in he lobby. Survivors (and killers) would dodge lobbies if their teammates were not red ranks.
When I play killer, I really don't care about Prestige. I am so used to seeing 1 or 2 P100s when I play Wesker. But other killer players aren't. Either because they are quite new or because they have middle MMR.
Even with 6k hrs I'm not at top MMR, because either my playstyle let's me end up dying and all others escaping or the killer just likes me and camps me in the end because they thought a 3 Gen chase was efficient....
So I guess I am stuck in a limbo between good and inexperienced players where most killers shy away from high prestige numbers, leaving only try hard players who tunnel and camp, making the experience horrible.
