Wesker silent nerf :)
- if you grab a survivor under a pallet with your power, the pallet drop will be favored over your grab
- at a window, using your power when a survivor start to vault, you will not grab the survivor but just give a hit (you do not infect him and you loose time to take it on the ground if downed)
Nothing in the patch notes of course. I have 30ms ping so it is not a problem on my client side.

I do not say the changes are unfair, but they are not in the patch notes.
And well, catching a survivor mid vault should result in a grab, especially if the survivor is still on the killer's side of the vault.

PTB bug fixes had this
- "When Wesker performs a Virulent Bound on a fully-infected survivor vaulting a pallet or window, the survivor will no longer incorrectly be grabbed and slammed"

Okay.
Well they wen too far then. I did not grab a survivor that jsut started the vault animation on a window, he was still on my side, on the ground, just started the animation like 1ms before my power hit and i did not grab him.
Same at a pallet, i started to launch my power when the survivor was on my side of the pallet, my grab was cancelled and i got stunned by the pallet.
I have 30ms ping, so it looks like they have given the survivors are tolerance window of 500ms...

Well two things,
The fact that Wesker was able to grab fully infected survivor seems like it was never intended in the first place so at most you should have been just slapping them for a health state. Additionally, your ping is variable especially given that you can't check your ping to the server unless you are survivor so I doubt your ping was just 30 ms.

Everytime i look my ping is 30. There is no variable ping unless you have a terrible internet provider...

My point is that there is no way to check your ping as killer to the server ingame. Checking your ping with a tool online doesn't help because it is not pinging against the game server (where it matters). So I'm confused on how you're arriving at the statement "my ping is 30ms".

thats how it should work honestly , the free grabs were annoying as hell on tight vaults , even if you were a pixel still inside the vault you were teleported to the other side because of "latency" and the wesker not only got a free grab on you , it also was preventing survivors to make distance after losing a health state.
teleporting a survivor to your side was already pretty common against high ping weskers , this change is pretty welcome with how BS the servers are on vaults and high ping players.
in-game if you dont get a single YELLOW - RED ping indicator while playing , means that your ping is stable below 90 ms which is still decent. however there is not other indicator for pings below 100 ms (NO ICONS).
10 to - 99 ms is consider good ping in the game (Green).
100 - 180 ms means a bit of delay in the game (Yellow)
200ms + means bad ping a lot of delay , BS hits (Red)

The slap still instant kills if you are fully infected too, and is intended. The immediate grab is not.

He was never supposed to grab you out of a vault with his power in the first place, that has been a bug for a while now. He's supposed to slap you since he first came out

The slap on window is how it’s supposed to work. It does still instadown if they’re fully infected though (or at least it’s supposed to) and should infect them.

He was never intended to grab through windows. It was unintended, its working as intended now.

Everyone claims Wesker is popular because he's both strong and easy to play (on console). Just cause he's a bit more complicated than M1 killers doesn't make him that hard. The mechanical skill part of his ability lies on his collision exploits and 95% of the Wesker players don't play that way and still have great access to his strengths. He's nowhere near as difficult to pick up as Nurse or Blight or Singularity. He is pretty intuitive and very rewarding to play and win with.

Nah, you have to think that playing Killer in general takes the most skill in the world. DBD is not a game where much skill is required, but if you play Killer, no other game can compete. You also have to have 180 IQ AND be a supermodel to play Killer.
Jokes aside, you are absolutely correct. I would argue that Nurse is not that difficult to learn, but Singularity is a good comparison. Singularity is strong, but way harder to learn than Wesker, who is probably even stronger.

Great, this is how it was and should be. There was nothing more frustrating than getting slammed into the same Pallet you just dropped on the other side. Or getting set back through a Window you already fully vaulted. With around 30 Ping obviously.
Wesker still gets the infection, but at least not massive value anymore.

My ape brain simply understands:
-trying to hit survivors after the blink = hard as a no experience Nurse
-hitting survivors with Uroboros = much easier as a no experience Wesker
I'm sure people who play casually also think that way, but for some reason killers here have to convince people why their killer actually isn't strong and why having to play M1 killers using legit strategies means they're actually super weak, and when they play with those strategies it's actually survivors' fault they did because they were being toxic. Or something to that effect.

Can you tell me what happens when a character with no skill-floor that's strong gets played in low to mid MMR?
