Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

made for this or any means necessary?

basically, who's better, yui or gabriel? because i'm thinking about buying one with my shards. i'm finally planning to change my perk-slot and i find those 2 perks of these characters quite useful and interesting. in overall, who has better perks? i think if talking about gabriel, then the only good perk that he has is the one that i'm talking about, while the other 2 that he has seem a bit odd and useless, to me at least. as for yui, i think all of her 3 perks are pretty good and will actually make some use. MFT scores 2nd in the whole dbd survivor perk tierlist, which is a bit higher than yui's highest one (any means necessary).

personal opinions? i'd like to hear more about experiences with these perks, letting me know how useful they can be in matches. a bit hard to choose since i also feel a bit bad for my last 9k shards.

If you are already OK at looping and escaping chases, the 3% haste from Made For This will give you that extra bit of room to stay ahead of the killer when injured. If you aren't good at looping or escaping chases it might not be enough of a boost to help you get away, and the perk won't be a benefit to you.

Any Means Necessary, I hardly see anybody use to be honest. If you want something pallet related, Windows of Opportunity I'd say is much more useful, and just having a look, it is currently the most used survivor perk.

if you want fun perks rather than just the average exhaustion, meta perks ; i would say yui is the best choice because all of her perks are pretty solid and fun to use but not like insane either.

if you want a "perk" that literally is soo strong paired with DH and Hope , them i would say gabriel is the best choice

because MFT is his current state is just strong enough on almost any meta build. (still unfair tho but I cant stop people from using it)

Made for This is one of the strongest perks in the game, and it couples really well with Resilience which is a general perk. I've lost count of the amount of times a survivor has just barely made a loop, window or pallet thanks to Made for This when they'd otherwise get hit. And the Endurance is also absolutely huge, though a bit more situational. If you play any M1 killer consistently this meta, you'll understand how painful this perk is.

Troubleshooter is actually a far better perk than it looks like at first glance. It can prevent you from running the killer to your teammates, and the aura reading after dropping a pallet makes you immune to mindgames at tall wall loops.

    Scavenger is mid though.

As for Yui, Lucky Break is a neat and decent perk which can help in chase sometimes. But Breakout and Any Means are both niche and you aren't guaranteed to get value every game. They're not as good as you think.

If you want the strongest perks, Gabriel is the obvious choice.
