Please can the hook scream changes be reverted?

Survivors screaming before the hook animation is completed and the survivor’s camera POV transitions to the hook is incredibly jarring, and feels unpolished. Furthermore, the change to the activation time of aura reveal perks after a hook/Scourge Hook Pain Resonance eliminates counterplay for observant survivors, who can notice the start of the hook animation via its aura, and let go of their gen before it gets damaged. I believe this is fair counterplay and should remain in the game.

To conclude, please could you consider reverting these changes by making the hook scream play once the animation is completed. Also, to address complaints about some hook screams being too long, I would recommend just providing a time limit on hook screams. That way we can enjoy the longer, uncut screams for most survivors, however the outliers who scream for 20 minutes don’t get out of control and blow out your eardrums.

    if they revert it we will have shorter screams because normally hook screams are meant to cut off when the animation is done so this is why they are slightly longer now but i agree revert the animation but bring back the longer realistic screams or make the screaming animation longer so it wont to have cut off

    I agree, the fact that pain res now activates on the survivor scream and not the hooking instance shows to me that this change was not thought through.
