The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

Really? Alien of all liscenses

Look sure the original is a decent flick that is referenced every now and then but that's all it has, 1 decent flick. The other sequels are either forgettable or are just flat out bad.

Kinda sucks that bhvr went for an easy license to get when they could've gone for something that actually has a legacy like Fnaf or Childs Play. I mean they said it would be an iconic license, but I guess we should be used to them lying to us by now.

Honestly it sucks that the last interesting new licensed added was the first resident evil one from 2 years ago

I would have prefered Chucky too but Alien also is a very big draw. You don't need more then 1 good moment to be iconic.

If we start excluding licences who had bad movies you wouldn't have much choice left i'm afraid

    Halloween had weak movies

    Silent Hill had weak games

    RE had 6

C’mon now. This goes well beyond it being a cult classic.

it's not about quality, it's about being iconic. You can not like Alien films, it's subjective after all, but saying that Alien is not iconic just false. Most of Freddy Kruger films also suck, just as every SAW after third film. Pinhead i didnt like it at all and i think it's really specific film for specific people. Texas Chainsaw is really product of it's time, and if you watch now those films suck. But all those franchises are iconic. And Alien the biggest one of them all.

Although i agree that having FNAF as next license would be huge hype

Matter of perspective. The Alien franchise has had more movies, spin offs in various forms of media and overall brand recognition. I suspect the Alien series would be more iconic to Millenials than Fnaf while the opposite would be true for younger generations.

After 6 years, having both Killer licenses be slasher horror related might seem a bit old to players and I appreciate BHVR for branching into sci fi horror. Perhaps even The Doctor as a Survivor from the Doctor Who series wouldn’t be that far fetched.

Look man I'm someone who'd be down for a fnaf chapter, but alien is simply far more iconic
