Once you have signed in, on the right hand side you can use the "report bug" button to be able to fully report the bug you've encountered. Thank you.
Initialization error on Nintendo switch
It's not possible to load the game. The Initialization error message opens up as soon as I press any button to continue. Restarting the console and game does not work. Reinstalling the game didn't work. Using a different WiFi didn't work as well.
This error occurred first when I updated the game August 1st

Same problem here. Nintendo switch user. Ever since the patch. I've reinstalled and cleared cache.

I'm sure everyone there are nice guys but, holy ######### man. An entire platform unplayable and barely addressed. I literally have Nintendo online emailing me promoting Nick Cage. I can't even buy it. Like it's literally making Nintendo lose money lol. This has to be the absolute worst time for something like this to happen. Bet you play for Friday 13th has shot up.

I play on Switch alao and haven't any issues. If it makes any difference I'm playing wired to a TV.

Same here. Wired LAN connection in docked mode works fine for me at least

I've tried several things so I'll recount my experience, the issue seems to persist even if the switch is docked or undocked and I've tried switching networks several times, as soon as the main menu tries to load authentication data it tries to load something and the initialization error pops up, I really just want this fixed because I enjoy the game :(

I have discovered that this problem only occurs with the downloadable version of Switch DBD. I also have the packaged version and it does not occur with the packaged version.
The same bug has been reported in Japan .
The game is fun and I too hope it will be fixed soon :(

The fact that behavior haven't even responded or make any/zero public statements about this issue for many days now, is really remarkable and not something one would expect from a popular game like this..
My nephew have same problem as everyone here, he plays on nintendo to. Tried everything..
And devs with no respons or fix is really really frustrating . To the point of me wana quit this game, despite not having any issues myself

I did see the devs respond to someone’s tweet on twt the other day. Wish they’d address it in a post but they said that it would be fixed by the next patch… which was technically two days ago, so idk what they’re doing. The fact they’re not prioritizing this issue esp during an event is frustrating. I hope we’re compensated.

I also had the same problem, and I also happen to play animal crossing(which was fine) but I had the date wrong. I reset the date(current) and it fixed the problem. I hope this helps.

I thought “there’s no way….” But I tried it because I also play animal crossing. I also turned on the” synchronize clock via Internet options”. Reset my console and for some reason it worked.

Just wasted $30 on the game and different dlc. How can they get away with advertising a game that doesn't work. I feel cheated and want my money back.
