does anyone else miss the old CoH?
to soloq players such as me, it was really helpful. yes, medkits do exist but this perk helped you a lot in most situations if you didn't have one, or simply made it faster to heal yourself or someone else, which still exists, but the main reason why everyone used it was because for the self-heal, don't really see how it was "op" or anything that they had to nerf it. i'm not saying it "sucks" now, a lot of my teammates still carry it & it helps, but i just really miss self-healing after activating it.

No I do not.

congratulations

No - Someone who still uses COH

it was one of the most cheesy dbd perks, 1 survivor took 1 perk that allowed the whole team to heal in solo in 16 seconds
by the way coh even now is incredibly good as it is a free bond + it still greatly speeds up the healing (altruistic healing time from coh-8 seconds)

nope.

Not really.
I kinda like not having team mates wasting time looking for totems, now that all boons are bad for solo q.
Also nice not having 3 people heal in 30 seconds all the time when playing as killer.

No I don’t miss it. Yeah it was a good perk for solo queue but it was just too good to the point where that didn’t matter.

I actually like Boon: Circle of Healing better now as a survivor. I tend to end up being the healer, so having a way to boost that speed exponentially is great in my book.
The only problem I have with it (and boons in general now) is that my teammates seem to completely ignore its existence. It used to be everyone would beeline to a boon's area of effect, but now they're just completely ignored a good chunk of the time.
I had a game recently where one person was hooked and everyone else was injured, but no one went to my boon totem. And not because they were healing somewhere else (that I would absolutely understand) but because they couldn't even find each other and were just scrambling, even when I hovered around the boon for a bit.
Do people not know that Circle of Healing now shows the aura of injured survivors? You're not just waiting for someone to happen upon you. You're literally broadcasting your location to your teammates as a request for help.
Regarding older versions of Circle of Healing, I never really understood why everyone liked it so much when the community was also generally of a collective opinion that Self Care was a waste of time, even when Self Care was at 50% healing speed. Circle of Healing at 50% was a little bit faster than Self Care because of weird math stuff, I'm pretty sure, but I still don't really get why one was considered something you should do and another was regarded as being useless to your team.
In conclusion, I'd absolutely run the current version of Circle of Healing more often. It just seems like it gets ignored when I run it now, for some reason.

Kind of, back then I played a lot of hit and run and ran ring drawing + dying light to lure survivors into healing themselves. It worked most of the time, but it was kind of innefective against SWFs.

Nope. It still haunts me in my dreams.

Yep.

All the time. I only started playing last September and the CoH nerf is still the most significant one for me (Barely used DH).

No I think the perk is still fine and was busted.

No.

My Hit n' Run playstyle doesn't miss it, but it will be missed in solo q hell

How is it free bond? You have to waste time to find a totem and then bless it, killer can snuff it whenever. Just bring Bond lmao. Anytime someone has set CoH, I've never gotten healed by my teammates even though they can clearly see me. Leave it to killers to tell you which survivor perks are totally fine. What's next? Calm Spirit is actually sleeper OP?

I dont really miss it. I would be happy if they delete Boons so that I dont have to be annoyed by my teammates who spend 16 seconds on a dumb Totem without any real use instead of getting to work on a Gen.
1 -
if the killer spends more than 4 seconds, then you won time
taking into account the fact that the killer spends 2 seconds on animation, then in 99.9% of cases you won time

He doesn't need to snuff it majority of the time. CoH is not good for solo. The only scenario he would need to snuff it is if he's playing vs co-ordinated SWF.

I just miss the medkits without self heal penalties , the -33% debuff on them its soo overkill kwowing that medkits do no longer stack with botany knowledge or CoH anymore. also knowing that mangle makes that even worst.
as killer main - i have to say they went so far with that. but nah old CoH was annoying to deal with infinite heals and stuff, NOPE
0 -
Absolutely not, it was completely busted.

I only miss it because it was the only decent Boon. Now bringing Boon perks is akin to sandbagging because they're not worth the time it takes to set up.

The nerf was weird because it didn't hurt strong SWFs at all. All it did was hurt solo queue players. SWFs can still use it to do a full reset almost immediately thanks to the increased speed. Ayrun has been doing a four man escape streak and it's insane how fast they heal.
