it's supposed to be some kind of a mini event or whatever they say. I don't believe a word until I hear it from the devs. This event is mega doodoo.

I totally agree with you there. We got way more on mini events in the past. This is just a disappointment.

Nah, while I have a good amount of cakes, I don't have a stockpile so big that it'll last to the next anniversary, so I'll take use invitations and do just fine on BP while the event runs.

It's not amazing but I'm averaging 60k-75k a game as survivor and 75k to 100k as killer per game. It's better than the nothing we'd usually have this time of year at least, I'm mostly just seeing it as something to hold us over until we can dig into Alien next Tuesday and it's serviceable enough on that front.

No one at all is noticing it, it literally says -stacks in the bbq invite but they aren’t stacking with other invites people put down, it’s the same bp every game

I thought the same thing, but it gives you the extra bloodpoints during the endgame tally. It's just not very clear, because I assume most people skip that part. Had a game where everyone used BBQ offering, I only did 1 gen and got 15k.

The cakes do well to make the ones who brought Invitations more worthwhile, so a mix of both is actually the best case scenario!

why do people cant accept just a small event , it seems like everyone expect a giant thing with a lot of new mechanic every months.
the event is okay IMO , good free cosmetics, the decorations looks nice and soo far i havent seen something broken related to it .

I tried SO hard to get 300 Terrormisu/Cakes on every killer, in the end only got that much on about 18 of them, still, unlike the cakes which can be used year round, the BBQ event will end in 12 days, and the offering will be useless until next year. I guess What I'm saying is, Yeah, I used a few cakes to get the ball rolling, but after that, I'm using only the BBQ invitations. It saves me from spending cakes, and while the bonus isn't as good as when everyone uses cakes or a 2x BP event, it's still damn good BP gain, and I don't want these invites taking up offering inventory space.
Besides, the BBQ offerings can REALLY add up, and this event is just fun, and we won't have another until around Halloween, so take advantage while you can, save your cakes for in-between events.

Seriously. It's something where there's usually nothing. It's not like it replaced the anniversary or something. Some people just live to feel wronged somehow.

I think the event is fine, the only downside is how hard it is to find invites in the bloodweb. I'm seeing more terrormisu being offered than I am invites and I'm assuming it's because people can't find the invites so falling back on other offerings.
