The DC penalty timer is insane
Okay so let me paint you the picture a year or two ago my internet was complete garbage it would randomly cut out so I would suddenly DC meaning a thirty second timer but then a five minute I still try playing but on maybe the fifth internet cutout I get a six hour timer. Okay I get that it's designed to prevent people from DCing the longer timer for a strong punishment but here's the thing the DC timer just take a massive shot from 5 to 15 to 30 all the way to an hour to six hours. You may ask "Well why didn't do just not play if your internet is like that." Simple it would do it completely randomly for two days it would be fine then suddenly start going insane. All I would say it just try making the DC timer at least a bit more constantly like once it hits fifteen minutes it will add an additional fifteen minutes afterwards.

Or you could just get your internet router checked by a specialist since it shouldn't be doing stuff like that. It's usually free.

The argument "I have incredibly bad internet and think I should be able to ruin games for other" isn't a good one against the dc penalty.

Even if it is unintentional, you are seriously screwing over a lot of people disconnecting that frequently. I vote for the DC penalty to remain as is.

I can sympathise. Is your Internet particularly bad if you get found and downed first by any chance?
My Internet seems to go bad every time I play against a Skull Merchant. Can't understand why.
