Really hope Matchmaking is fixed

I really just seriously hate matchmaking. Because guess what I get high skill survivors every match and low skill survivors when I play survivor. I mean it shouldn't be that hard stop with this if you escape or how many kills the game can seriously have a better matchmaking by more performance like how many gens were done before your first hook or how long did the chase last before you were downed or escaped. Performance isn't just escaping it also involves what you did because what I see is this a teammate who did nothing all match and escaped is now at a high skill level. That shouldn't work like that because they didn't do anything.

The low player count prevents match making from being better. If they implemented good match making the people at the top would have 1 hour queues. There just isn't enough players to split people up to make things more fair.

Genuine question here: I thought the player count now was higher than ever?

it's still nothing compared to games like Call of Duty or League. You may not know this about DBD bet there is essentially two tiers of MMR in the game. You are either over the MMR cap or you aren't. The game attempts to put you against people near you, but very quickly opens it up to everyone in your tier.

for me matchmaking is completely random. today I got sweaty swf with flashlights on dead dawg saloon as legion. I managed to kill them all without tunneling and camping and it took me quite long time (15+min) the next match I got I was against baby survivors who doesnt even know what legion frenzy does. am I in low mmr or high mmr? what kinda matchmaking is this? why do I win at 5gens sometimes and lose with 1-2 hooks? matchmaking is broken.

(Sorry for my maybe bad english in advance)

I think the MMR as a whole should be removed and the old system be brought back.

I know some ppl will say that its big bs and I say maybe they are right BUT I personally think that in the old system you had more fun than with the MMR. It was just more chaotic and fun to me.

The devs need to understand that dbd is and will be a party game and not a competitive for most of the player base.

The devs have to do a better job of keeping more people around to get the MMR working correctly. Maps are a big reason many people struggle on both sides. Map offerings should be disabled or should function as a way to NOT be sent to that specific map.

MMR ruined Dead by Daylight. The old non-MMR matchmaking system was better, where you were placed in matches based on your color grade. MMR was a stupid decision by the developer. This is a party game, not esports or "ranked." Dead by Daylight is just a bigger, more polished version of a Mario Party game.

I have heard this. I watched Otzdarva play a game the other day where one of the survivors had 5k hours and another had, no joke, 32 hours. Fantastic matchmaking, that one.

Just about everyone prefers the rank based match making over MMR. Except the people at the bottom, who would lose 90-100% of their games. I understand why they did it, but the game shouldn't be designed around the worst players experience.

During the most recent MMR tests, they had a day where match making was turned off. I played for like 8 hours straight.
