EGC Timer 3min &Gates regressable
It can't be that in solo q (main playerbase) people make 99% gates, preventing that people can escape the level, just because they are scared of the timer.
Even if mathematical or logical it's not needed to make them 99, especially if there is zero communication between survivor.
Please, increase the timer back to 3 minutes and give Killers the option to "kick" an exit gate.

I 99 the gate but I also run Bond so I can see when someone is coming and might need a hot extract

It's a way to counter Blood Warden. It's a one in a million but every survivor probably has this 1 game where they to Blood Warden.
The trauma of this perk haunts you forever. From that day on you won't risk it again.

I only 99 if I'm sticking by the door and multiple players haven't been hooked once. If everyone is on second hook or death hook I open because you don't need extra time for saves at that point. I've died more times to players 99 the doors than I have to BW - mostly because they actually 90 or 95 the doors not actually 99.
I run Wake Up so the other players know which door is opening and to head that way. I also run Distortion so I can run into the exit after opening and if I lose a token it's because the killer is running BW.

It’d be interesting if killers could ‘kick’ door levers to regress it. But do not think it’s necessary. Nightmare being able to teleport out of an exit gate would be insane as well. But do not think it’s necessary.

99% exit gates is just not a good idea majority of the time especially in solo queue where people straight up die because they have to tap the gate. Blood warden is such a rare perk unless it's a huntress or they have a bunch of endgame perks as well why worry about it.

I personally think it should regress. Survivors just 99 it which makes it pointless for killers in the EGC to even try chasing towards a gate. They 99 it to bypass the timer but still have the benefit of an "open" gate. Defeats the entire purpose of the timer pressure since it is entirely bypassable.

Open the Gate yourself if you want the timer to start.
