Are killer specific hooks returning?
Any veterans remember when hooks followed the killer? Giving you prior notice what the killer was and just adding a bit more added flare to the map based on the killer? Watching some xeno gameplay. Seems like his hooks follow him to realms besides the new one. Don't know if its intended or not. But itd be cool to maybe have special hooks for certain killers again.

Noticed this too!
I wouldn't mind this returning. It would also be neat if they made custom hooks for killers like Onryō and Trickster who didn't get their own map.

Thatd Be sick!

This would be visually neat, but could be problematic for killers that need an element of surprise to get that first hit/down.
Besides, can you imagine if Nurse had her own hooks? Survivors wouldn't need to wait to hear the first blink sound effect, they could just DC on seeing her hook.

the survivors still won't know who you are going for. and currently you can still stealth to them after they know it's you. so I really don't see that point.
so they quit 10 seconds before the usual? damn...

Myers and Ghostface need that extra few seconds of unawareness that they're in the match to snowball their stalking. Hooks specific to them tell the survivors very early on to look for them stalking.

That used to be the case. Nurse existed during the time when we had killer specific hooks, those are the models used on Crotus Prenn. They switched the killer specific hooks to being realm dependent at the time it made sense since every killer had the same default TR and there was more emphasis on surprise encounters. Now though changing back wouldn't be so bad as the surprise emphasis is long gone and you can distinguish killers from sound alone.

They really don't. It's fine.

Nah, too many ways to break the game.

They should add more theming, including to the basement. I always thought it would be cool if the basement were personalized for each killer.

They need to close the gap beween all SWF on comms knowing who the killer is after 1 survivor spots them and solo q only knowing if they see the killer themself (or take clues from the HUD/environment like Sadako or Deathslinger).
Briefly add small black bars to the top and bottom of the screen and put The Mastermind (for example) at the top of the screen as soon as the killer starts a chase / a survivor within 40m sees them (if the game can detect line of sight at a 40m range for Ghostface, then it can work for survivors).

Not true actually, If I know im facing a ghostface/myers/pig I prepare for it and its MUCH less likely they can get s surprise attack as if I didnt know, thats why I love stealth killers when playing on a swf, you can just call where you see them and like 70% of their power goes poof.
