Yeah I don’t understand why that’s a thing? If you’re injured and infected, the fountain should only cure the infection and then you should have to heal normally. It doesn’t make sense for the fountain to heal both.

Her mori is way too long too. I wish the devs would consider how much time is wasted during a mori animation when creating them. The length of the Pig’s should be the standard.

It is a good thing that the fountain heals survivors because using the survivor also give The Plagie her corruption power. And you have to remember that the fountain is not usable until the killer basically cleans it.
So having the fountain heal survivors as well, balance the killer power. Corruption gives an easy hit.

With her power she has range attack that can injure and down multiple survivors though. We weren't very careful and a plague got 3 downs with her corrupted power. At first I thought insta heals were not fair but they might actually be fair in the end.
I say lets wait and get used to her a little bit. She seems to be a snowball killer.

But you realize if you make all survivors use all the wells, they cannot heal themselves since they are all corrupted, so you can go around and just make everybody "broken" with puke and they cannot purge it or heal thru it, pair that with the new thana buff and they are in for a rough ride.

I usually like him but damn he is complaining A LOT. He keeps trying to play them like any other killer. He is making them sick and not waiting for them to be broken so he needs 2 hits to get them. Kicking generators and and not always corrupting them same with not always with pallets when being looped.

Its to counter the fact if you don't use a fountain you are broken so it's a 2 for 1 it removes broken and heals you but at the cost of the killer having a damaging range attack so you have to debate rather not being healed is a better choice then a long range down at the last second

If you want to run mori's deal with the extra time you waste doing the animation, as opposed to the two extra hooks you'd have to go through, seems fair to me.

Anybody test out letting the survivors corrupt all the fountains so they can't heal up? Might be good strategy to ensure they are weakened before upping your power.

Not sure, haven't seen them. But the time it'd take to manage getting everyone sick and every pool full seems like it's not worth the effort. She seems like a "slow the game down" type of killer, though the healing part of the fountain kinda hinders that.

Nah shes super strong, the strat is puke and follow withing 2 feet until they go broken and then just m1, hiting puke is super easy and then you dont give them speedboost for getting 1 healthstate. Also fountain takes 6 seconds but gives killer damaging puke for a considerable time. which is ugly in the basement or with where you can hit 3 survs with one go while not losing much speed. but then again you have a legion icon so maybe Im argueing against the wrong person. FeelsBadMan.

The fountains hinder you more than help you. Instaheals remove any momentum the killer had. Gaining corrupt purge is not big enough of a trade off. Worst of all is when a survivor is unhooked, then heals themselves at a fountain 10-15 seconds afterwards while you're on the other side of the match. Now if I want to use corrupt purge I'll have to walk across the map to that fountain and odds are the first survivor I find once I have corrupt purge is the one I just hooked.
Thanks to the new emblem system and DS rework, I'll be punished for chasing that person again. It's silly.

It makes sense when you play the killer.
Once a survivor drinks from the fountain, the killer gets a visual cue and the aura of the fountain appears on the map (to let you know corrupt purge is available)
So the killer gets a notification of where that survivor is at the moment, it would be a bit unfair if they had to heal after that since they can't heal before due to the broken status.

Ok after playing a few normal games against her...
It's extremely easy to get someone broken. Just keep puking and they keep running and they're injured. There's little you can do.
Don't even get me started on the corrupted purge. It's like a 115% huntress with rapid fire. That's hard as hell to avoid.
I can see now why it gives you the instaheal and the extrenely fast time. Because in return she gets the strongest damn power in the game. Not to mention that her regular power is a bit like Legion, you can't really avoid the first hit.
People on here begged for legion to be buffed and look what we ended up testing on the last ptb. Player suggested buffs that were broken beyond belief.

Seems like that is the strat yeah.
Puke on them until they get the broken effect, then tunnel them down for the M1 hit, this way you dont let them get to the insta heal fountain. Great design.....
The plagues power could have been designed so well, in order to slow down the game you could puke survivors, give them a hit and they would have to cleanse+heal, but sadly BHVR didnt go this way. Instead we are stuck with a killer where we ar e forced to focus down on one survivor again and hope that the others doesnt genrush too crazy

all of the PTB killers so far have required buffs

Only viable strategy
Find survivor, vomit on them until broken, standard attack, hook.
That's the only thing which seems to work fine. If Plague is forced to play like this they become cheap because its the only way to get results.
Any other way is a waste of time and it harms yourself as killer.

tbh i don'T see it as a bad thing really, the fact i can puke of every survivor at once and hurt all 4 of them at once because someone healed and cured themselve for using the fountain is pretty fair to me :)

Fountains equals free power up. If the survivors use it too early, it makes the match hell on them. Get as many sick early, and they are forced to try to work through it, or make you a living nightmare.

@MegsAreEvil It's about 6 seconds to get a full heal.
Downside of healing is that it takes 2 hits or 2 streams of puke to down you.
