it is possible to make an " boring " killer, fun to play against, or just not boring ?

You know, sometimes, you encounter an player who play an " boring " killer, like leatherface with an solid bad reputation, and make him go to the different ways, or if the killer is weak or just .... mid tier, he goes top tier.

Those players are really important to the game.

So, it is possible to make the Skull Merchant, or The Knight fun to play as the community ?

    Yeah, it's pretty easy. For Knight, don't place your guards down in a loop solely to make survivors run away. Bang, you're playing an active and interactive Knight.

    For Skull Merchant, don't try and do the above with your drones (it doesn't even work as well), and don't 3-gen. Play her for chase with trap-drones set ahead of time, play her to try and use the claw traps more, heck, try and use her stealth if you're really committed. It's harder for her because she's not as good in her more interactive playstyles as Knight is, but it's more than doable.

    No matter what you do, though, some people are gonna think the killer is boring. The most pure chase killer in the game, Legion, gets a bad rep from some because they don't like mending, so you really can't please everyone.

    People will hate on you just because you are the opposition. You can play as fairly as you can, make the game as interesting and interactive as possible with your killer, and there will still be someone at the Endgame Chat chewing you out for no reason.

    Its best to abandon the expectations of survivors if you play killer.

    As sm and knight are in the game rn, no you can't make them fun for the survivors. The counterplay to their power is fixed, you just leave the loop until you get hit.

    Other pretty boring killers are killers like nem or pyramid head who just really have the same issue where they turn every single tile into a 50 50 basically.

    for me and I’m sure most people the artist definitely is boring depending on the playstyle

    I feel like 80-90% of all Killers are in some way, shape or form boring to Survivors.

    I find him incredibly boring. He chainsaws at you until you either drop a pallet or he hits you. That's it. I have absolutely no fun against Leatherface, and I have no fun playing as him either. I can find more excitement in a Skull Merchant match.

    You could play Nurse without using your power and 4K and people will call it boring. You simply can't please your opponents and you should focus on your own fun rather than your opponents.
