Wesker grabbing you while being stunned
What I would like to know is how it is possible for Wesker to grab you from inside a pallet while being stunned. I stunned him, but somehow ended up literally inside of the pallet and grabbed by him. Is he bugged or what?
And no, it was not lag or a high ping issue from either side, we all checked.

more than anything ping and how events get processed server side. Wesker gets quite some of those funny ones - but there's a lot of funny instances around pallets. One of my alltime favourites was getting the prompt to drop the pallet but getting downed before it happened... or so I thought. Half a second later the drop & stun went through, so my character got back up for the animation .... pallets in this game are weird. Don't overthink. Blame it on ping / servers and 9/10 times you're right.

Did you even read the post? I said it WASN'T ping related.

It was definitely ping related, You might have good connection and good ping, but if the killer has a higher ping than you then this can happen

Grab right as the pallet was dropped? Which would cause the server to both recognise the grab and the pallet drop (thus negating the stun)?

Yes, I did. Hence me saying ping OR SERVER.
That being said though, you can't really exclude ping as an option, even if you have good ping. While you don't know exactly what ping the killer has (except if it's past .... 140? Is that when the icon shows up?) it can still be high enough to cause such issues for ping sensitive killers - and Wekser is a very ping sensitive killer when it comes to his M2.
Course, pallets are historically buggy as well; there have been serveral instances where survivors/killers would get stuck in dropped pallets / were unable to drop an undropped pallet etc. - but most often even that seems to have been triggered by something ping/server related more often than not.

I mean I asked the killer player about it afterwards, their ping was between 30-40. We were both kinda stumped. The odd thing is that he got stunned but still had me inside of the pallet and was able to walk away while carrying me😅
I think it might be a Wesker thing, the same as how DH bugs out against him, or at least it used to not too long ago. Or indeed a pallet thing, I've noticed that vacuuming is happening again as well so who knows

Didn’t they fix that? I thought if a hit does register there it’s just a slap
