Remove dc penalties
I do not derive any happiness at all from playing DBD.
At the moment the game looks like survivors have to play as efficiently as possible to escape.
I'm currently playing a 2 man SWF with a friend of mine (temporarily we've lost our third man in team) and unless the randoms are doing generators, I know I won't escape from such a match.
I play by the rule that if 2 genes are done by me and my SWF, and in the meantime the randoms aren't doing anything productive (crouching at the other end of the map, running around with flashlights to miss a flashlight save, or breaking empty totems/blessing another), then I just end the match, show the killer where I am, and kill myself on the hook.
I don't want to spend consecutive minutes with no progression in the match, I just don't see the point of prolonging a game like this if the people on the team don't know what their objective is.
I admire people who play solo - I wouldn't be able to do that.
Remove DC penalties - in that case I'd just DC, let randoms waste their time and maybe bots would help them escape.

MFW you intentionally play with randoms knowing what they could do and complain about said randoms and say that they need to remove dc penalty.

On why the DC Penalty will never removed and I am sorry to hear that happen to you. But here a dev explaining while they will never turn it off. Hope this helps :).

If you are not getting happiness out of playing DBD, then just take a break. Disabling the DC penalties won't change the fact you are not enjoying yourself.

Why are you playing a videogame if you're not having any fun playing it?

And yet, here we are.
At some point BHVR will be forced to do something. The logical choice is to remove DC penalties and let a bot replace the player. Otherwise, people will continue to suicide out leaving no bot, or (if pulled off the hook) run to the killer to get hooked again. Or (if unhooked again/killer won't re-hook/something is implemented to prevent hook suicide) AFK, wander around doing nothing, or actively work against the rest of the team by throwing all the pallets/making noise/leaving scratchmarks to lead the killer to the rest of the survivors.
It's really weird that this is a thing with them. A bot may not be a perfect replacement for a player (though in most of my solo queue trials bots play better and are more reliable than the majority of the survivors), but it is better than being completely without a player (or multiple players).
When playing killer I like it when someone DCs and drops a bot in. You can use it to farm pallets for points and/or removing pallets from key areas.

Removing DC penalties would be terrible for the game. Without the penalty, I know I'd be gone like the wind the second I saw a Ghostface, Pinhead or Doctor. And while I can't honestly say I'm a saint that's never suicided on hook to escape a miserable game, I usually stick around and put an effort in. Why? Because of the DC penalty.
Without the penalty, I know I'd also be facing plenty of bots with my Legion, Trickster or Plague since a lot of players hate these killers too. I don't know about anyone else, but I didn't queue up to play with bots.

If you don't derive any happiness from playing the game, stop. Just stop. This shouldn't need to be said: do not keep playing a game that makes you miserable, because all you're doing at this point is making others miserable with the constant throwing of games.
I've never once seen a community where people complain so much about a game being no fun, being bad, making them miserable, etc., and then just continue playing. Hell, removing D/C penalties like you're asking for wouldn't even make the game more fun for you, all it would do is allow you to make yourself miserable more efficiently.

You do realise you’re causing your own issues, right?

I do not derive any happiness at all from playing DBD.
Then maybe you should stop playing instead of making the game more miserable for your team mates?
