Let's Talk About Cosmetic Descriptions
So...what's the deal with cosmetic descriptions?
They've been getting increasingly boring as of late, and don't offer any insight to the killers or survivors life, motivations, emotions, etc. Take a recent example, of Clowns Hotdog Cook Outfit:
"He remembered working at a hotdog stand."
INCREDIBLY underwhelming, compared to a lot of Clowns Cosmetics. Here's a few cosmetic descriptions that actually are good and well-written:
"It was the time of the year when families were starved for activities and delivered their children to any street performer vaguely fitting the effervescence of Spring." (Clowns Eggs-Uberant)
"Twisted by his exploration through The Fog, the myths of the Greek god Hades reshaped The Clown's repulsive body." (Clowns Lord of the Underworld)
"It’s Jeffery Hawk’s fun-loving alter-ego, Mr. Puddles! He's your wacky elephant pal who leaves red puddles everywhere!" (Clowns Mr. Puddles)
I chose Clown to showcase descriptions, but go to nearly any survivors or killers cosmetics store, and you'll see what I mean.
Stop giving us the bare bones for cosmetic descriptions, BHVR.

It's truly riveting stuff.

I felt this one... 😍

Nah, it's still a niche thing imo.
I'd rather have a better quality of skins, rather than description...
I don't mind a "It's a new cosmetic" in the description, if it's looks good.=)

I miss them trying to tell tiny stories through the cosmetics. Now it's just "they dressed up in a costume".

These things are not mutually exclusive. The time it takes for someone to come up with half decent description doesn't take away from time that would have otherwise been spent making the cosmetic.
