Everyone thought Spirit was trash/weak as well during the PTB. After a few minor tweaks she was ready to go live. She’s now considered a high tier killer.
Legion...we don’t talk about them...
Aside from that she seems alright. I feel like if people were to play her more enough they would get the hang of her just like how people had to learn how to use Spirit properly.

Big problem is to use a fountain you have to lose all map pressure to go collect it.

One Brit’s opinion. He thinks Freddy is garbage and I regularly 4K with Freddy and enjoy all the salt that comes with.
A streamer’s opinion is no more important than anyone else’s.
I’m sure everyone thinking this has mastered her in less than a day, discovered all her nuances, gone through her perk/addon/offering combos to come to such a conclusion.
Maybe we can wait till she’s out of PTB to make this call?

Well here's the thing, survivors can rush generators while sick and they don't have ti cure themselves so they also get the benefit of denying her Corrupted Purge.

From what I’ve been seeing, people are saying that she doesn’t need Corrupted Purge to down you with her power. She just needs enough applications of it.

Freddy is trash tho, just because you can 4K as him doesn't mean he's good. I'm sure if you played any other killer I can guarantee you would have a better time

I have Nurse, Myers, Doctor, Pig, and Leatherface all in their 40’s. I enjoy Freddy the most so far. I’m better with him than any of the others.

I think the problem is her power isn't what they told us. It doesn't slow survivors down, whatever that means. It works better to break them in the chase so you can down them quickly. Which is fine but I think it subverted our expectations from the livestream Monday. I think she has issues but I'm more hopeful.

He's actually not. He's the weakest killer, but that doesn't mean he's unplayable at high ranks. It just means you have to work harder. A Freddy that knows what they are doing and has a good build will destroy survivors. He just doesn't do it as fast/easy as a top tier killer like Nurse.

I think she is interesting I agree to give people more time to figure her out she looks like she can be pretty powerful, also when he says you need to play her as a tunneler I disagree she has been out for a day let people mess with perks I think discordance would be great but those perks seemed really bad and add ons still picked him up a 3k.

I think played to her full potential, she'll be an okay killer.
The Plague has a lot of elements to her power. Meaning, she isn't going to be easy to play.
But even still, I'm getting tired of these increasingly complicated killers. I want some killers with straightforward powers like Billy or Nurse.

True was playing her horribly. He was spraying at survivors he obviously couldn't reach, he even sprayed one guy who was already broken from the other side of a pallet.
He admitted she's complex and the hardest killer to figure out.

I watched his stream, and he was not playing her poorly, but merely overthinking her, like he always do, expectign her to be compolex as #########. In the end he figured out that she is basically a low skill close quarter combat huntress with 115% movement speed.

I've seen him play Myers and he's moonwalking and mindgaming at every pallet and jungle gym. He's pretty good.
With Plague he was playing her like a drunk uncle at a party - stumbling around and throwing chunks everywhere.
I'm not saying perhaps she couldn't do with a few adjustments but I think people need more time with her.
On top of that true said stop the fountains from resetting. Which would mean a 115% killer who can keep survivors broken all game. Yeah that's an OP suggestion so I'd take tru3 with a grain of salt right now.

As someone else said if they do this they become broken and so a one hit for killers. They leave themselves weakened. If they do cleanse they give the killer the ability to be stronger. It’s up to the killer when to do that. If you’re crossing the map to get to a corrupted fountain as soon as a surv drinks from it maybe rethink what you’re doing.

I like Tru3 and I watch his vids, but it's his opinion & others are allowed to have opinions also. Can't just use him like that.

Why does Tru3's opinion matter so much for some people? He used to say Leatherface was the weakest killer in the game now he says he's a solid killer. Tru3 is just human so his opinion about killers is dependant on his personal success with the killer in question.

Yeah if survivors choose to be injured then really it's no different to them choosing to stay injured against wraith, leatherface, Myers, hillbilly etc - with billy then only having the advantage of whizzing around the map.
To date I've still never seen an entire team that chooses to remain injured no matter how much killer mains say it happens. Maybe on the last gen for an adrenaline change but thats it.
It seems the devs took this into account though and now the easy answer is bring thanatophobia. 24% speed reduction if they choose to remain injured.
Some people just want it all. Survivors are free to adapt, thats what killers told them to do and now they do it. The devs took mercy and buffed thanatophobia to please them yet some people still complain. I dont know what else they want.

Grandma Tru has spoken, delete the Plague and cancel the game. Really is amazing that people think these streamers are some sort of oracles of the game, theyre nobodies, lazy people scared of the real world.
A boring streamers opinion isnt worth more than a regular Joes who doesnt stream.

His hunches can be quite accurate though... he was like the only person saying spirit was good when she first dropped.. he also said legion was good (to find out that legion is arguably the only op thing in this game)
Now I agree more time is needed to see how she pans out.... imo shes going to be middle of the road....

The opinion of tru3 can not be taken seriously because he accepts that ranking as killer is the most difficult part of the game, but most of us know that this is not the case. It is much easier to rank as a killer than as a survivor. To other there are better streamer like DIANA or humero.

Couldn't agree more, I feel like the Devs just made a whole complicated mess with this killer's powers, I feel like it could've been better if it was just the initial vile purge with some Buffs and then her M1, with fountains working like jigsaw boxes and not healing a survivor as well as cleansing.

Tru3 dis say the killer seemed weak and he kept saying he's on the fence about it. He couldn't see any optimal way to play the plague apart from vomit until broken then downing them.

He does mention that this is first impressions and then after 5 hours of play revises his impressions, but still ends up thinking she could be a bit better. There is nothing wrong with stating the impression of a killer when we're in PTB and supposed to be doing just that anyway so the devs can get an idea of what the playerbase at large thinks about the killer. Also once you have the thousands of hours that a Tru3 has you probably understand the game as a whole much better than the average player and can make a decently informed opinion.

remove the insta-heal and you have a chance. Unless you play weak survivors. They will exploit the infection to get heals, loop endlessly to eat time while gens are getting done.
The heal removes so many meta perks
removes hit and run, forcing tunnling
new rules prevent camping so damage downing at hook comes with no pip.
Fix: Remove insta heal or make it cost an insane time to fully cure with heal.
remove ability for suvivors to find heal fountains within a certain distance. (force travel to eat time)(not that you cant play with the infection, vomit does not slow you down at all.)

If you watched his videos of him playing The Plague than we can both agree that he played as well as a Killer with 20 hours in the game
and then continued to ######### about it like he didn't just suck and hadn't learn how to play her
Watch her get 1 tweak for live release and we'll all be here again in 2 weeks with the "Plague is ridiculously strong" threads like the past 3 Killer releases.
