The Cenobite needs changes
The cenobite needs to have some changes made.
If I am opening the box, I should not be getting spammed with chains. It is impossible to open the box in this situation and basically ruins the game for everyone.

Yeah, chain hunt is ridiculously oppressive. I don't really like that a passive mechanic does so much of the work for him. It basically renders everyone useless for such a long time. Pair that with add ons that make it harder to find the box and faster start up on chain hunt, and you have a miserable match before even one gen is done.

You literally have to stop solving the Box in order to dodge the chains and then the progress resets back to zero.

No. I feel like I have options against the head traps. It slows me down, but I can still make decisions as to how I utilise my time. On the other hand, Cenobite feels like old Eruption going off for several minutes. Plus I can handle the head traps solo without needing to coordinate with anyone. Which is great as I play solo queue exclusively.

You don't even need to wait for 3 chains. That just makes it super easy. What you actually have to do, is dodge the chain before it hits the ground (start solving the box while chain is still mid-air, but after it no longer flies at you). It's very quick this way.
The only issue is occasional bug that happens with chains (I didn't see it for some time, but as it is already quite a rare bug, I am not sure if it was patched already or if I was lucky) - that they don't fly at people that they should fly at AND fly at people that should be immune from them - meaning there can be a bug that chains will spawn at you even after you are solving the box for a few seconds (after waiting for 3rd chain and that stuff) and there can be a bug where there are 2+ standing survivors, you are working on a gen/healing yourself, chain hunt is active, but you won't get interrupted anyway. But as I said - these are rare and I am not sure if they are still in game.

yes if you dont know the mechanic. when you pik up the box, you need to wait out 3 chains, THEN you can solve it freely, thats all ppl need to do.

1-Its a passive ability, the killer doesnt even get to decide when to use it, if u get caught while its active thats honestly on u
2-you have 60 seconds to do it, and then there is like 25 seconds where is doesnt even begin counting back again
3- this chain hunt is one of his only abilities,other than him actually summoning a chain himself (other killers can instadown, constantly pressure, and more with one of their abilties)
4- there is a window opportunity after 3 hits,just wait it out
