Two questions about the alien achievements
For killer one is hit survivors with a special item? is that only aliens flame thrower or is other killer items like Nemesis items count as well? The other question is for survivor pick up and use special item is that for aliens flame thrower only or does other killers items count as a special item? Thanks

All special items.
Sprays, EMPs, Syringes, Tapes (?) and Lament Configuration
And of course, the Turret.

I think special items include the turrets, Nemesis and Wesker vaccine, Sadako tapes, Singularity EMPs.

I can confirm that I did not make achievement progress on Xbox when hitting a survivor who was holding a tape with Sadako. I am hoping it was a bug.

The strange thing is on PS5 the trophy description is hitting a survivor holding an item OR a special item. So I thought regular items counted towards it too.

I am at 9/50, got a few on alien though i don't think the survivors were carrying a turret. I think the best bet is either wesker or singularity if you want to get the achievement fast. Unless only basic attacks count for it.

Have you checked again? Sometimes achievement progress fails to update immediately on Xbox. Going directly to the "All Achievements" page often shows the true progress for me.

Probably easiest on Sadako or Singularity, as survivors generally hold on to tapes/EMPs as long as possible.

It's a little bit silly how they introduced this achievement on Alien, who isn't likely to hit a survivor casually lugging around a turret.

Doesn't work with Sadako.
Maybe it has to do with the fact they lose the tape instantly (during the hit?).
I did it with Wesker and it went pretty quickly (5 games tops).
(Do not know however if M2 would work, too. I tryharded with "basic attacks".

I checked again and then hit several more last night who were holding tapes. The achievement does not advance as Sadako, at least on Xbox.
