Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Deja Vu and other gen aura perks prevent you from seeing gens with Trail of Torment on them

Trail should override Deja Vu, not the other way around.

This bug still exists in 7.2.0 and I've noticed it also includes generators with Blast Mine, Wiretap, etc on them.

The simple solution would be to make it a different colour but then killers would complain. The other option could be have arrows denoting Deja Vu gens, Wire Tap etc to the survivor using the perk only. Again though killer will complain about it because of people who play woth friends can right away tell em which gen has Trail.

It's probably fine to just override Deja Vu's highlighting with a more important one. That already happens for Scourge Hooks, and whatnot. But the priority should be Yellow over Red, not the other way around, same as it is for killers.

Though it would be nice on both sides to differentiate gen perks a little better. Especially Surveillance with perks like Eruption or Call of Brine. When a gen is highlighted yellow, it's difficult to tell which perk is the one causing that.
