Killer Specific Hooks
I know that at one point, BHVR had the idea to make the appearance of hooks change depending on what Killer is being played. They scrapped that idea to not ruin the surprise of what Killer is being played before they are revealed (doesn't make sense anymore with so many Killers having special displays on survivor portraits right away).
What I have noticed since the Alien release is that when Xenomorph is the Killer, there are special hooks for it.
Do you think we are headed toward having the original idea for hook designs to be Killer specific?

I assume its because they are more of breaching from his underground area.
i dont want killer specific hooks tbh, i like when they match the realm

I don't know why they made the xenomorph having specific hooks, it feels arbitrary and make non sense imo.
I hope they don't make it with more killers, it would nerf indirectly some stealthy killers, mainly Myers, Ghostface and Wraith and I also see more appealing the map specific hooks and make more sense.

I think its a reference to how xenomorph's like to trap people against the wall and the entity changed the hooks to look like something coming from the xeno's nest to get the xenomorph to hook them instead of outright killing them

There are reasons why they removed them. Besides, having an Asylum hook on a farm map doesn't look right.
