I don't understand this reactions from bhvr
This past year it's been all the same.
A new ptb and from a 30 min reaction, bhvr quickly buffs some random stuff without considering the consequences. (Alien, Sadako, SM...)
But when something goes live, then bhvr goes to let's wait guys and we have to deal with it for months.
Why was Alien buffed? He was ok on ptb, who said that he was lacking?

Almost everyone said the tail felt horrible when you missed with it. But I think most of us were expecting a .5 to .75 second buff on the cool down the increased movement speed instead was...a choice.
Some people were worried about the turrets but realized they were fine with add-ons. I'm guessing they nerfed the turrets and the add-ons accordingly to prevent a situation where everyone was only running the same two add-ons.
I have no idea why tunnel movement was buffed however everyone seemed fine with that.

Yeah, things feel bad if you screw up, but the killer was new and clearly had potential.
So buffing him so much in such a short window of time is just becoming comical.
I wouldn't even be mad about that aproach if we got frequent updates to tune things up and down, but no it's buff or nothing for how many months or years before they consider ir necessary.

He was lacking in some aspects and he even still is, why they buffed and changed aspects everyone was fine but ignored some crucial feedback really defeat the purpose of the PTBs. For example, one common complaint was that the turrets were to hard to spot in many spots because the FOV is to close to the ground, they did nothing about it and increased movement speed in tunnels instead.

I at least know the tunnel speed decision. Originally, the tunnel speed was much faster, but internal testing showed people were having trouble moving around viably because it was TOO fast. They dialed it back for the PTB, then bumped it up a tad more to bring it more in line with their original intent without it being the original "too fast" speed.

There can be a penalty for missing without feeling like you're DSing yourself every time to want to try an interesting shot. There's such a thing as something being too punishing which it very much was on the PTB and everyone agreed on that.

none of the killers had practice. no wonder that many m2 went wrong.

Not when he is the only killer without a speed penalty to wind up the shot.
Imagine if Huntress or nemesis could have their m2 at 4.6 and gaining BL. So of course the miss needed to be punishing

I feel like you're trying to make a broad claim out of a single piece of evidence, here. Xeno is the only killer that got "random buffs" after that PTB, I don't know what you're referring to with the other two examples.
On that point, though, I think most of the buffs were fine. The only one I really have an issue with is the post-miss speed reduction, I don't think that should've been buffed.

My issue is that the devs buff things too quickly from ptb but don't make adjustments when they get live for months

Well, that is kind of how it should work, right? Make the obvious quick changes that are needed from the PTB, and then let it settle to see if it does need changes going forward. A broader pool of players that have no idea how to react to the new thing will need time to adjust. In general, too, they have less time to make a snap decision when it comes to the PTB, and they have the time to do it properly once it hits live.
That's why it's relevant that the buffs aren't random or unnecessary most of the time, the only killer that did get a random and unnecessary buff was Xeno. You're acting like every PTB in the past year has caused massive issues that need immediate solutions, and BHVR are just dragging their feet on fixing it.

tunnel movement speed actually feels nice.
the only thing that should stay. it doesn't change much to be nerfed, but it makes this killer feel so nicer and smoother

The tail attack cooldown speed is more than likely fine. It's just hard to tell when half the time the speed penalty isn't being applied to the tail attack and xenomorph keeps moving at 4.6m/s. People just need to calm down and let BHVR fix the bug.

You dont need to understand it, you have to accept or at least respect it. Alien is not overpowered, it is actually very balanced compared to the 3 killers before it, which needed huge buffs to be "ok".
Maybe Alien will receive small (!) changes, but overall its a very decent start after release.

Doesn't change the fact it felt terrible to miss like I know for a fact a lot of people weren't interested in Xeno because they felt so bad to play if you weren't landing every shot.

Because the tail felt awful to use in PTB with a terrible animation and an hour cooldown for missing.
