What counts as consecutive matches?

How long is the timer? Does the timer start once you escape or die as a survivor, or when you leave the results screen and return to the lobby? Does a consecutive match count as soon as you ready up or do you actually have to successfully get into a game?

I'd like to know because if it's 5 minutes then I have time to run to the bathroom or pick a new challenge to work on.

It's buggy. From what I can tell, once your prior trial is over you're supposed to be able to queue up for the next one and start ramping up the bonus. However, if the next trial lobby takes a while to spawn the bonus doesn't seem to kick in or will completely reset. Also, even while playing back to back trials with little downtime in between the bonus seems to randomly fall off, then has to ramp up again.

Switching between survivor and killer also seems to cause issues with the bonus, even though you're still playing back to back trials within the same timeframe.

Occasional bugs, particularly with new things in the game, is understandable (to a point). But it's really annoying that most things don't just work.

One thing I know is that you lose multiplier bonus when you exit game and restart.

Really wonder there should be 'consecutive matches' condition when they could do '2x for every matches'.

Very annoying and frustrating. It being buggy explains why they aren't being transparent about how it works.

Yeah I'm not gonna bother chasing this bonus. A straight up 2x or even just a 1.5x multiplier would be worth it, but not this.
