Prime Gaming Reward is…underwhelming to say the least!
400.000 bloodpoints. That’s it. Multiple times in a row. Obviously I would take any cosmetic over bloodpoints. But Behaviour went down that route. Fine. But can we at least get a decent amount of bloodpoints fitting for a monthly reward? This is 18 levels of bloodweb at most. It is almost not even worth it typing in the code. A minimum of 1 million would be fitting. Stop with the stinginess. I also haven’t seen a free code for bloodpoints in months.

Suspecting we're gonna keep getting 400k every month now. Twice is a coincidence, three is a pattern, and all.

I mean, I appreciate free BP because earning BP in game, especially as survivor, is an absolute slog. But on the other hand, the prime reward should be better. 400,000 BP is basically nothing.

They already released a timeline. I think we’re getting the same BP reward 3x in a row.
Correction: it is 6x in a row all the way into 2024 :-/

This!

Ah, figures. Couldn’t seem to find it myself.

So wait... you get a free reward and you are upset that it isn't good enough?
I play on Steam, I've never gotten a reward for having the game other than being able to play it.

People pay for Prime to get the rewards amongst other things. So no, it isn’t free.
Also, how long have you been playing the game? Take a look at their older rewards (hint: one whole new exclusive outfit per month)

Yeah, so it is 6x in a row :-(

At least give us like 5000 shards a month with that little bp, damn.
4 -
Yeah, it's a pittance. In the current economy, anything less than a million BP isn't even worth mentioning. I'd argue 2 million would be a totally fair number for the monthly reward.
Especially given that cosmetic rewards, which were common up until recently, have a much higher equivalent value than 400K BP.
With the incentive, you can earn 400K BP in an hour; it's like tipping your server a couple dollars.
BHVR's internal calculus on the relative value of BP vs. Iri Shards vs. Auric Cells has always been really screwy, and BP rewards have always been laughably light relatively speaking.

If the previous standard for the monthly Prime Reward was an outfit, I'd argue for 21K Iri shards, which is about how much a basic outfit costs.
I'd be happy with that, honestly. Much more than a pittance of BP.

On console, it takes longer to type in the code than it does to earn that many bloodpoints naturally.
Even as little as 5000 shards would be good enough, at least that requires about 20 games worth of play time.

True, 5000 shards would be much better than 400K BP, but still far less than the value we were getting from Prime Rewards before.
Think of it this way; your average outfit costs 21K shards in the shop. You get about 25K shards per 100 levels, which takes about 80 hours. Iri shards are one of those things you earn so passively, you don't really think about how long it actually takes.
So what, about 65-70 hours for an outfit's worth of shards. Heck, even for the 5K shards you're looking at about 15 hours of gameplay.
So let's say you're just taking it easy and earning about 20K BP per match. I always play whichever role has the bonus, which is almost always 100%. So about 250K BP per hour, playing casually. That's pretty conservative.
So for the 16 hours it would take you to earn 5K shards, you'd have almost four million BP. If you run those numbers for the equivalent outfit cost, you'd be looking at about 16 million BP, conservatively.
And since the precedent was set as an outfit for the prime reward, I'd argue the appropriate minimum equivalent value should be, well, a whole hell of a lot more than 400K BP, which is about 2.5% of the value of an outfit, or 7.5% the value of one piece of an outfit.
So yeah, 400K BP is an absolute joke.
EDIT: I referenced this vid for my time to iri shards math:
EDIT 2: Corrected my misplaced decimal points

I'll take any form of currency over cosmetics as rewards.

And that's fine, but to please as many people as possible, the value should be near equivalent as reasonably possible.
I'd suggest the reward should be one of the following:
- Unique outfit
- 21K Shards
- 1000 auric cells
- 16M BP
Some of those numbers might seem really high, but in terms of value (as a function of time, which is the only currency that really matters), all are pretty close to equal.
And the fact that those numbers seem so high is a reflection of two things: how much of a joke 400K BP is, and how obscenely overpriced cosmetics are.

You're right, those numbers are high, probably a bit too high, i'd cut BP & Auric numbers down by half.
Also i'm completely opposed to unique outfits as reward regardless of how much it would please some people.

I get it, you have to pay for Amazon Prime, but when I said free I feel like most people had Amazon Prime for Music and Video or even free shipping before the Prime Game thing was even a thing.
I literally just logged into Prime and was offered the reward never even knew about this, of course I avoided the forums till recently.

Yeah, that's the thing. I personally got prime exactly for free shipping and now I have that plus prime video, get free games and rewards for multiple games like lol, R6S, GW2, DBD and wow.
So much free stuff. But there are people here that get prime exclusively for DBD and then get butthurt when it isn't a fresh cosmetic or something "worth" getting.
And yes, with the amount of benefits one gets from prime, those rewards are basically free and anyone getting prime "just" for DBD monthly rewards should rethink some of their spending in my eyes.

+1 for shards

Don't know the veracity around this screenshot but if this is true then I definitely think they should increase the amount of BP or change the currency. Getting 400k BP 6 times in a row just isn't worth imo.
