Oh they stoked the fire
I expect if there was a reason like "it doesnt line up with our core values" theyd just say no like they did with Jeepers Creepers. So seems like its still a possibility just depends on when or if they decide to.

So far I just see your typical PR talk with a Soon™ sprinkled in.

FNaF is pretty huge for what it is. There's a movie coming out later this year for the franchise.
No reason to avoid the license completely when it's likely just a small vocal minority hating on the idea of FNaF coming to DBD.

The entire, “I don’t agree with this politicians anti-LGBT stance, but I support them on other things,” is disingenuous. You still end up supporting anti-LGBT stances; it’s not like when you vote you say, “I vote for Candidate A on these things, but Candidate B on these others.”
He may not “support” their anti-LGBT policies, but he’s still willing to sacrifice LGBT people to them in order to get the “good” policies he wants. And sorry, but if someone tells me my human rights are not as important as their tax bill or whatever, I’m going to think that person sucks.

This.
Also he didn't just vote for them, he threw as much money as legally possible to their campaigns.

I still think it would be PR suicide to do a full FNAF Chapter. Would be a complete 180 on BHVR's prior championing of LGBTQ+ causes and supporting the community.

They could maybe do it through blumhouse as they already got myers who is also partially blumhouse. If they wanted to avoid some of it i guess.

Biggest thing is this, if you don't like the DLC then don't buy it.
I had no interest in Alien, haven't bought it, never plan too.
It really isn't a big deal if they add a chapter you hate.

So you'd be fine with them adding Jeepers Creepers even though it'd be supporting a convincted predator?

As this thread went off and far past the rails, I'm going ahead and locking it here.
