How do we feel about Legendaries getting extra cosmetics?
Hello all! I wanted to ask the developers during the AMA if it's possible for them to give legendary characters more cosmetics, but didn't get to unfortunately.
For example, Claire has so many other great outfits, I'd love to buy them if they make them available.
What are your thoughts on this? Any other characters you'd like to see get more outfits? Discuss! :)

Hmm, I don't think they would do that and if so, then it would cost same as the all other legendary skins.

That's what I'm wondering as well, would it be the same price, or a different price if we already own the character.

I just wish they were able to do prestige legendarys if you have the original character fully prestiged for them

I'd absolutely be down for it. More cosmetics for the RE characters legendaries would be great, but yeah I dunno how the logistics of it would work since they're technically skins for other survivors.
I guess if they do that, it'd be the same price as buying the legendary itself, but if they ever did it, it'd be great if they could make them cheaper for those who already owned at least one of the legendaries. Seems complicated though.

Then don't buy it is what I'd say, but for those of us that want these alternate skins for Claire, it's a yes. Again, you don't have to buy them.

Itās an odd situation having additional cosmetics behind a legendary pay wall. I really do like the Bloody Legendaries idea though. I think itād be great.

Yes! Imagine Chris or Carlos with a Ugly Sweather! Would look so good on them, COME ON BHVR! And I also love Claire, I played her Military outfit a lot in RE 2 Remake so I would be down to legendaries getting cosmetics š

I'd buy that instantly too.
I'd really like some other options and hopefully capcom/Konami would be willing to give us the outfits. Sorry I'm not sure how it all works!

To answer on a theoretical level, yes, that's absolutely possible. But for licensed characters it would need to be discussed with the owners of those characters first. That said, I can't confirm whether or not this is going to happen.
On a more technical level, legendary outfits convert an existing character to a different character while the outfit is equipped. The moment you take that outfit off, they revert back to their normal character. So if this were to happen, it would likely appear as a separate legendary outfit.

And IMO it would be alright to have those Skins for 1485 ACs (regular price) and once you buy one of the Legendary Skins, the other Legendary Skins for this character go down to 1080 ACs each.
So if I have the regular Claire Redfield-Skin and they release another one, I only have to pay 1080 ACs for it instead of the full 1485 ACs. While someone who does not own any Claire-Skin would need to pay 1485 ACs for either of them and when they purchased one, the remaining Claire-Skins go to 1080 ACs each.

Well some of legendary characters have great potential to sell more skins. Claire and Chris first comes to mind. Hopefully we can get more skins for them.

Thank you for clarifying this! It is good to know it is possible at least :) Hopefully Capcom and other owners of the characters will be open to the idea of it, I know I would it buy it instantly!

So like he said. If they want to give legendary skins, it would just be separate? So why not make it so that if lets say you have claire already, her skins cost 1080 cells but if you dont and just want het other skins, they cost 1480 (the normal legendary skin price)?

What about adding prestige version of legendary skins if you P6 base survivor for that legendary?
These skins cost a lot of money and that should be something considered at the very least.

I wish Chris would get his RE5 outfit (that Felix got for some reason) or even his RE7 gear or RE8 coat. It has bothered me for a long time now, that Chris' outfit is from RE1 but his model is from RE5.... If they would fix that, I would be glad.

yeah that's true, total bullshit would be if they just add it as another legendary cosmetic with the same price. There should be at least good discount for original legendary owners, which either makes it cost the same as rare skin, or maybe even little cheaper cause legendary themself are little overpriced.

I really hope this happens, Chris' Casual from RE1 REmake, Code Veronica Chris or even Made in Heaven Jacket Chris. So many choices, so much money for both Capcom and Behaviour. I hope we aren't just restricted to just the Base character getting skins. Give the Legendaries some love too

I prefer they give priorities to other changes before than rework the legendary skins system.
- Give more costumes to the licensed characters, like Quentin, Laurie, Yoichi... I feel that force to pay real cash for them, should make them have some more attention. I understand they can't nor will have the same quantity of cosmetics like Dwight or Feng, but something more to add variety.
- Would like they could rework to allow cosmetics for the twin Victor, Knight's ghost soldiers or Nemesis's zombies. Some maybe scarier, others funnier. Or simplier, to can fit with the style of the main killer.
But if they rework the legendary system, I think what they could do, instead of having these special characters, hided as a special costume of another character. I think they could move all the legendaries outfit to a single character slot of "Legendary characters" and have there all of them together, where they can add new outfits too. Like The Legion, that has 4 characters in the same slot, and time by time appears new costume for each one of them.

Understandable, and thanks for the update on the theoretics. As a Claire main, I for one would buy her Noir skin in a heartbeat, and so would every other Claire main I know.
And yes, the person above showed two other Claire outfits, and YES I WOULD BUY THOSE ALSO, just to tell you and Capcom how much we want this.
