Was using both wiretap and blastmine, pressed the button to put them on the gen but was able to move around after touching to repair gen.

other players could see me so i was walking around normally to other players but on my end i couldn't see myself

Hello there,
When you experience this happening again, can you please provide your game log after this happens?
To find your Dead by Daylight logs:
- Press the Windows Key + R to open the "Run" command.
- In the text box paste the following: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs
- Click "OK" - this will open your Dead by Daylight Logs folder.
- If it does not open the Dead by Daylight Logs folder, it may mean that when installing Dead by Daylight you chose to save your files somewhere else and will need to check there.
- The file called "DeadByDaylight.log" is your log file and the one you will need to attach to your support ticket.

Same here! Happened to me twice on Playstation 5 in the same situation: wanted to put the trap on the gen very quickly so I tapped the button and ran away directly after since the killer was coming, and from my point of view, I couldn't see my character and I was hearing generator repair noises even if I wasn't close to any gen.
Seemed to came back to normal after a little while.
Happened to me a week ago (can't remember the character I was playing) and today with Ada. It was with the WireTap Perk for Ada. The first time it happened to me must've been blast mine cuz I never use Wiretap on any other characters.

It's a blast mine bug that allows the survivor to go invincible until they do another interaction like entering a locker, etc. The killer cannot see or interact with you. Have had people abuse this against me already.

I just had this (someone else was bugged) in one of my games, I couldn't see him (only 1 of his charms), the killer couldn't see him, but my friend who was a survivor could see him. I havent got any video of it but i have a few screenshots, attached below:

Why hasn't blast mine/wiretap been kill switched? This is an abusable exploit and will cause many false hacking accusations let alone advantages towards survivors. I have had this happen multiple times over the course of one evening.

When it happened to me everyone on my team said they could see me, i was the only one that couldn't see myself.

I think the reason is because you need an advantage to be considered an exploit. Progressing the game stops the bug. Being worthless to your team keeps the bug going. The current killswitched item was reproducible and could be used anywhere while progressing the game. Blight could intentionally bug abuse, or it was the case he slid on objects like butter due to poor collision, so intentions are also a part. With this particular bug, you can't do it again until you pump half a gen, and touching a gen ends the bug. So its more like a personal pause/timeout bug than anything.

This has happened to me as well.
These perks need to be killswtiched ASAP. This can be incredibly abuseable.
