bhvr pls stop doing meaningless number tweaks.

look at why the perks and addons aren't used

give them new effects

no one is gonna use furtive chase, bffs, or the deathslinger, freddy, pyramid head..etc addons you changed

isn't this literally what midchapters are for?

why not give number changes for things that actually need it like oppression/ thrilling tremors/ iam all ears which are hindered by their lengthy cooldowns.

why not give background player less exaustion timer like smash hit instead of extra duration and maybe give it killer aura reveal on pick ups also i was hopeful for more than 2 perks to be changed.

am grateful for all the other changes tho.

    I already use bg player and for me personally, the perk did not even need any buff. But the thing is, that I am one of few people playing sabotages (and my issue is not with access to hooks, but with hook density - which is getting worse - thanks devs for new rancid map).

    For flashlight/flashbang users, the buff is 100% fully meaningless (same as furtive chase buff). So yes, different exhaustion CD or higher speed or something like that would be genarally much more impactful.

    yeah bg was a weird pick for a buff but if i would to give it any it'd be what i suggested cuz i think the speed boost is already enough for saves.

    for sabo i feel like you have to be sneaky and do it when the killer is almost at the hook without them noticing to get any value which is good imo sabo shouldn't be too easy.

    i understand but the number tweaks don't do anything but miss the point of why these addons/perks not used most of the time so either bhvr knows they don't do anything but do em anyway or they actually don't realize why these perks/addons are underperforming.

    the time and manpower spent on making more macmillan variations absolutely no one asked for could've been used for making perk and addon reworks.

    There are perks that can be saved with just number changes, why not focus on those instead?

    Some perks are simply beyond saving and even your 5 manpower is wasted on it.

    For me, I feel like they could have scraps those weak perk changes and do more then number tweaking...

    Some Perks can be redeemable if they have extra Stat or far increase stats to make them stand put. Others, just need complete Reworks, like Furtive Chase... the one Stat from that obsession changing stealth perk is that fact you need to be in chase in order to have the most TR reduction. This makes the perk complete useless; as most often then not the Survivor you are chasing is going to hear the loud chase music and see your red glow from the killer's viewpoint, and you need to hook every non obsession and build up new tokens and giving every Survivor a chance to get away instead of tunneling and camping to be more efficient in your killing. The benefits do no outweighs the huge trade off that you let the all 4 Survivors give up their first hook states as long as they are the obsession. If only they changes that one Stat from "reduced TR while in chase" to "Reduced TR, outside of chase"; this perk will be very valuable to killer's with lower tr or any Killer whom is willing to trade hook for permanent lower tr for the rest of the game. One Meter extra per token, is not going to make a difference one bit.

    I agree that current stats are just outright stupid bad. But beware of stacking TR reduction perks - M&A + new TR reducing perk could create situations where you die before you hear, that you are in danger. That's not exactly cool thing. The perk needs absolutely new effect (because even removal of TR without any tokens while in chase does something 1 in 100 games and even that something is basically nothing).

  • BhVR is crazy to think that players will be satisfied with just a 3cm increase in movement speed per second in adjusting add-ons.

    If Furtive Chase would reduce the TR OUTSIDE the chase, it would be very good.

    Background Player should give more speed, not more duration.

    Great points, I completely agree. Opression cooldown is atrocious, and it has remained unchanged for ages. Background player could definitely benefit from a smaller cooldown, rather a longer speed boost. And yes, Furtive Chase would be a worthless perk even if the terror radius dropped to 0 during the chase. The devs are completely missing the point with this perk. They should start playing their own game. :')
