Upcoming trapper buff question
In the recent dev update trapper got a buff that gives him 7.5% haste after setting a trap but it doesn't say anything about a duration, is it permament? If so, it could lead to some fun haste stacking.

It's likely just a few seconds similiar to Knight and the haste he gets after doing a long guard trail.

Stackable 7,5% haste per set up Trap for the rest of the match.
Watch him zoom over the map!

Honestly this buff is pretty nice.
8 traps won't change so much but haste buff is pretty nice.
He can buy his some wasted time back with that. And when he put trap to loop, survivor will shift + w and this haste will make him catch these survivor faster.
He is still low tier killer , no doubt but at least he got some nice buffs.

i know you might think i am crazy but they might have just made trapper into A-tier killer. Otz will very happy. I hope they do not weaken trapper add-on's. lots of people think he is not very good.

and then you just left the trap there...to either do nothing or be picked up later if time exists. maybe catch 1 guy who didn't pay attention...
which is still the biggest issue with trapper. everyday is leg day for the boy...

no. you can stack haste. the goal is to make trapper much better at the chase. it will make using traps more viable to use in a chase.

I do hope they extend the haste to 7 seconds and buff coffee grounds to be the same. having an extra couple of seconds of haste to make up for the time spent placing a trap would be great. As it is, you lose 10m of distance during the trap animation and make up only 1.5 m from the haste they're adding (on top of the 3 you get from being naturally faster). That, or giving a bonus to trap placing speed while in chase. Or both!

Yeah, considering how the last maps have had little to no grass, he also needs something to hide his traps.

Technically yes, but Trapper Sack will still be better than running all over the map collecting the traps.
