So when is buckle up getting changed...
so it doesn't give endurance when you get a person up while healthy, killing its synergy with ftp? because currently that bs has no counter. please don't come here with something like "just chase 3 people at the same time and injure all".

I really don’t think this combo is anything to complain about. It’s just like flashlights where you need to stay off gens to do it. They can make it to where the duration of buckle up is slightly shorter but please don’t remove the synergy all together. The perks are fine.

perks are fine, but by themselves and neither should get nerfed because of a dumb synergy they probably didn't even think about before buffing buckle up. unlike pain res dms, they don't even need to nerf neither of the perks when used alone.

Behavior takes at least a year or 6 to legitimately change survivor things. Looking at you DH.

FTP should be a health exchange, and not be considered "healing" for the purpose of other game interactions.

DH took 5 years to be changed only because since years 4 people were getting better and better making DH become used alot more and more effective. DH wasnt "strong" before because players were alot worse back then.
David was released in year 2. Barely anyone complained about DH before year 4-5

I think FTP and BU could be used to anti tunneling. By giving the healing survivor both Endurance and a free Sprint burst (this can be given to both Dying-Injured and Injured-Healthy, means if you FTP to an injured, they become healthy and Sprint burst away), the healer gets nothing. I feel currently there is no way to play around the combo.

They should nerf it, idk what they thought when they added endurance. The perk already did his job with haste.

So true. I play mostly killer and a bit of survivor at the moment. And I don't see a problem with it I just think wow that was smart.

idk buff feels fine to me, a perk punishing extended slugging is fine; however punishing downing a survivor isn't.

I mean, by this logic then pain res and DMS should have never been nerfed since the perks were totally fine as they were, they just had some nice synergy. Same goes for the old gen kick build, CoB + overcharge + eruption. There was nothing wrong with any of those perks, but the devs went and gutted them all anyways, so why shouldn't a combo that can be used to completely invalidate a chase be gutted too?
Of course, it won't be nerfed, because the devs don't care when survivors have broken perk combos, only when killers do, but let's not sit here and pretend like the devs haven't destroyed perks that synergized well together before.

Main thing I hate about the combo is how fast survivors can use the perks. They can use this combo as the killer is recovering from a successful hit cooldown meaning the killer can't do a damn thing to stop it. In some cases it can lead to a free escape. Just the other day I was chasing a injured Michaela and a healthy Kate as Xeno during end game. My plan was to down the Michaela and then chase the Kate out of the match so I could claim my only kill in the match. The second I down the Michaela I saw the Kate turn around and while I was recovering Kate ftp the Michaela. During those few seconds I knew there was nothing I could do now to prevent either of them from ecaping.

yea it's so dumb, adding some cooldown to ftp could also solve the issue but noone wants two not so popular perks nerfed because of some very very specific combo. buckle up should just work like mft's endurance.

Ftp is not a problem. The perk alone is really hard to use, especially in Solo, where I have to follow killer, and can only use if teammate on the other side at pallets/windows. Otherwise I only take a hook for teammate at that moment (if killer not tunneling the teammate)
BU alone is fine too, having the 2nd teammate to buy time for 3rd teammate to pick you up is already in killers’ advantage. Its only because 2 perks fill up the other weakness perfectly, like DS and UnB.
Change BU rewards would fix it. And leave Ftp alone

I think there’s 2 ways they can fix this with minimal impact on using either of the perks by themselves:
1) FTP no longer counts as a healing action, which removes the synergy completely.
or
2) The idea in the OP that Buckle Up’s Endurance only triggers on the healer if they were injured. Since you have to be healthy to use FTP, this would partially prevent them from working together (the healed survivor would still get Endurance but the FTP user would be vulnerable). This would technically nerf Buckle Up standalone against instadown killers though, so I think I would prefer the first option.

The difference is you can counter flashlights and punish failed attempts/get a free hit or down. So that time spent off of generators will have been for nothing. FTP + Buckle Up can be used during the killer’s hit cooldown and cannot be stopped. There is no risk factor. That’s why flashlights are ok and this perk combo is not. Both perks are fine on their own, just not together.

Both perks are fine on their own, fairly weak even, but together they're just busted and often can put the killer into an unwinnable situation through no fault of their own.
Just need to make it so using FTP doesn't proc Buckle Up, simple.

Imo, bhvr needs to stop this design phase of slapping haste and endurance on every perk.
It's to a point where i don't even know why the survivor I've hit had endurance.
Was it styptic? DH? Basekit BT? extra BT? Soulguard? Buckle up? MFT? Somehow OTR? Something else?
Buckle ups effect was fine as is, if they wanted to buff buckleup they could have just increased the speedboost to something like 20% for 5 seconds, atleast you could still punish the missplay incase the survivor decided to attempt a pickup under your nose.
Right now it's either pickup the slug and get blinded/pallet stunned or chase the rescuer and then get hit with buckleup endurance, lose/lose scenarios are just not fun to play.

i think there are no other instances where ftp not being a healing action anymore would affect so that would actually be better. there was another person suggesting it but idk i wouldn't support ftp getting any potential nerfs in case there will be healthier interactions with it.
there is no other endurance source that gives it when healthy other than otr i guess so buckle up is unique on that. you are right.

you don't even need to look around for potential rescuers, you down the person and within your attack cooldown they are already up and there is nothing you can do.

For the People has a cooldown. You get broken for 60 seconds after using it, so not like you can spam it. I do not want either perk nerfed, just need the synergy between them to be removed.

by cooldown i meant something like charge time, you have to heal for 2 seconds at least to activate it. but definitely yes, like i said noone wants two not so popular perks nerfed. only the combo needs to go.
