Who else is excited for the halloween event?
I'm really looking forward to it as for me these events really kind of change the game up and make it a bit more exciting. Cosmetics are usually nice as well. Anyone have any other opinions?

Not really exited, i guess its going to be a few skins for Feng and others.
Another few overpriced skins for X killers.
A community achivement that goes up a little weird.
And dont get me wrong, i would love an amazing event with cool skins, easy to achive if you play and not behind all paywalls, a good patch notes, may be a showcase of the next killer?

i hope its fun but usually there is just some random cosmetics so it'd be nice to shake things up with a new map or something :D maybe jason will come out lol

It’s not till Oct 18th. I’ve been playing another live service, not horror themed, that has been doing Halloween for the past 2 weeks or so. The fact that we get such a short Halloween event for a horror themed game is pretty sad.

I'm very hype. Hoping for some fun new mechanics like they did for the 7 year anniversary event. Still want some cosmetics of survivors cosplaying killers butt probably will never happen.

Agreed. The event should be taking place through most of, if not the entirety of October! Why wait until the month is halfway over? The Rift is closed, there's nothing more important to do, either. Is BHVR afraid of their players having too much fun?

Any event that gives me the opportunity to stack on offerings/themed items and a slightly different map (even if just slight additions are added) always make me excited ngl.
I'm more excited for stealthy killers to come into play that aren't generally played and have a few spooks here. Throw on some Halloween music and just vibe.
I deffo wanna play some silly killer as well :)

I am super excited for all the fun themes, cosmetics and unlockables. But as a relatively new player, I've come to feel apprehension for the events.
It usually means either boring (but sometimes appreciated) farming games with nice Killers, or my sorry behind getting a kicking in all my Killer & Survivor games by every 2000+ hour turbo sweat returning to the game after their break following the last event / chapter release.
Will be my first DBD Halloween event though! Playing some Laurie and Myers games on actual Halloween night is gonna be Chef's kiss.

Yeah I agree. Kinda wish they'd go all out during Halloween seeing it's a horror game. Start Oct 1 and just go nuts.
Also blood rush month. Give us 2 weeks of double bloodpoints. Blood rushes are my favorite. 2xp is good but I really love the extra points it helps alot with the grind.

I'm really looking forward to them, when there's no challenges to do, I get a little bored with the 9-5 of killing.
Also I missed last years holiday season, so I'm hoping to get another shot at some Dredge skins and really excited about the new one.

I always return for the events during a mini hiatus to play smol amounts.
Unlike most ppl, I’ll hop on while taking breaks and purchase cosmetics. It’s like shopping, just because my fav store isn’t structured every which way I’d prefer it to be doesn’t mean I don’t love their designs n won’t buy new merch from them. This frustrates some ppl who still play often, are aggravated by aspects of game, and feel we shouldn’t feed into the “evil” cosmetics push.
I hate poor decision making, not cute outfits🤷🏼♀️

I like the Halloween events. They're usually fun and it's nice to have things switched up a bit for the event. But last year also introduced FOMO outfits and probably bringing more to the game, which I'm not a fan of.

I am waiting, I only play since April so this will be my first Halloween event on DBD. Since it's a horror game feels more fun and excitement then other titles. Old days I loved TF2 Halloween events. I plan to get the Halloween DLC or at least Myers and haunt Survivor on Haddonfield. :D
By the way I can except some Halloween sets no the amps? Like it was on the 7th Anniversary or summer events?

i'm hoping it's not like last year. i always felt the need to deposit because i didn't want to worship pallets. same with anniversary event, felt like i was way weaker until i got an invitation.

Same. There's much that would need to be fixed between now and then for it to be as fun as prior years, and I don't think they have it in them.

Is this one of those events where the Bloodwebs fill up with more offerings for the event than we can ever use, making them useless after the event? I hate those. If not, then yes I'm excited.
