What annoys you most in DBD?

For me it is when I crawl to a teammate who just runs when the killer is slugging for 4K. Worst part is that I had sole survivor so Freddy couldn’t see me.

@Ihatelifewhat defines “toxic” to you though? T-bagging and flash clicking? Those people are a bit annoying but it’s always funny when they chase me clicking their light.😂

The fact that we have a shirtless David but no shirtless Myers. It's a travesty.

@Bongbingbing it would be nice if both sides could just say gg instead of “git gud” I wish both sides got along and realized both sides will have play styles we don’t like.

@Ihatelife I do hate it when I get sandbagged or the killer/survivors dc to avoid losing.

@Poweas it is honestly pretty sad they have to bully someone because they lost or “rekt” the killer/survivors.

  • Poweas
    Poweas Member Posts: 5,873

Yeah. It sometimes happens to me as killer. Once I got told to kill myself because I facecamped a survivor after gates were powered and they turned a 2k into a 4k for me. The survivor who I camped stood up for me though and it was nice to see.

  • GrootDude
    GrootDude Member Posts: 14,110

@Poweas I’m on PS4 and one time a swf invited me to their party and three of them kept saying that I sucked and I should play another killer if I can’t play with skill (I was nurse) I got a 4K but the fourth gave me constructive criticism and told his friends to be nice. :) I like the nice ones. (The only hate I’ve received as survivor was from other survivors)

  • Poweas
    Poweas Member Posts: 5,873

Yeah the nice ones normally get me giving them hatch if I face them again.

    suffocation pit.

horribly unbalanced and no fun to play on (as killer) if the infinite window is open its even worse...

  • GrootDude
    GrootDude Member Posts: 14,110

@Mister_xD I’ve never noticed the window, I actually like that map. (Then i again I like every map)

  • Mister_xD
    Mister_xD Member Posts: 7,669

@TreemanXD well, it depends on how good your survivors are and what killer your playing. i believe a trapper can have quite a strong play on this map, however a billy will have a hard time.

the thing is, this map has the suffocation pit on one side, which is a huge loop (if the infinite window is open), tons of jungle gyms in the middle (sometimes survivors have literally a 4 window loop) and the killer shack on the other side... against a decent looper, you stand no chance with a killer like billy, wraith, pig, clown, etc. the only killers that actually do stand a chance are the ones whose power actively puts pressure on loops, namingly nurse, trapper, hag, legion and spirit.

the map still looks cool though...

360's because I use a controller and at best you get a 50/50 of countering them.

Guys, you had 4 minutes to prevent a Devour Hope 4K.

Tough question, a LOT of things annoy me.

I think a big one is the lack of points you get with no offerings/perks...it just isn't acceptable to average at 15k per game as survivor and 25k as killer with 16 survivors and 15 killers anymore (including The Plague and Jane.) I shouldn't have to bring streamers/cakes/puddings with WGLF/BBQ every game to get a decent amount of points.

I wish that everyone got double points baseline, as if every game had party streamers.

Players that complain/salty when losing or not being able to beat a clear advantage on the opposing side. For example not being able to beat Legion in a Chase, not being able to learn Loop the nurse because she ignores obstacles, or Killers complaining about all four survivors bringing items. Items are the survivors Advantage when paired with good team synergy. Killers all have different weaknesses and strengths & trying to beat them at their advantage is how you lose or in some cases show they have no skill.

1.) Bad players that can't take responsibility for their own badness.

2.) DS players that DC because they missed their DS.

Wait times only to get dodged (mostly swf, but sometimes as solo)

    Inconsistent pallets

The grind (no being able to sell useless items/offerings)

  • feechima

I typically play survivor, and I still get mostly annoyed by DCs. Especially first hook DCs. It's like are you serious? Just as bad as DCing is someone who intentionally goes into struggle on first hook and then gives up and d*ies. I just don't see why these people even play the game anymore.

  • GrootDude
    GrootDude Member Posts: 14,110

@Mister_xD that really does sound bad, I never really thought of all the loops on it.

    People who DC on purpose

Survivors that teabag over and over, thinking they're cheeky or some pro player

Survivors that instantly run out the exit gates asap when someone gets downed or hooked by a Killer and don't attempt some kind of save (when NOED or Bloodwarden aren't being used)

When everyone rushes a hooked Survivor and nobody is doing Gens

This last one can't be helped since there's no way to communicate this to others, but I run We'll Make It & Borrowed Time and I HATE when someone else goes for an unhook that run neither when I'd get them back up almost instantly

    Wolf74 Member Posts: 2,959

Putting beartraps in chokepoints and the survivor run past it, but the killer can't, because the Devs reduced the effective size of beartraps.

(I personally reported that issue and it was acknowledged on stream to be unintended, but never got fixed.)

  • feechima
    feechima Member Posts: 914

Survivors who won't leave, playing as a killer or survivor. You can be standing over the hatch with a bear trap on your head and 13 seconds to live and the other player will be teabagging at the gate until your head pops.

Alternatively, when you are on the hook in the basement when the gates are open, everyone leaves. :(

    Self Care.

"If you get looped for to long, just switch targets"

Oh wait a single M1 hit usually needs 30-40 seconds and SC needs 32 seconds.

People saying: "If the survivor manages to escape the killer, he deserves to heal up" are the same saying: "If you dislike SC, just don't lose the injured survivor."

    Wtf?

  • GrootDude
    GrootDude Member Posts: 14,110

@Wolf74 I run empathy so I can heal others and maybe get myself healed.

  • Wolf74
    Wolf74 Member Posts: 2,959

    @TreemanXD

Yea, sure, the forum is full of people claiming to never use SC, but in reality 86% of all survivor are using it (Devs stats).

So it is quit obvious that this perk is op af.

  • GrootDude
    GrootDude Member Posts: 14,110

@Wolf74 I actually don’t run it though as it waste a lot of my time.

  • GrootDude
    GrootDude Member Posts: 14,110

I do run it on occasion, but not very often.

  • Wolf74
    Wolf74 Member Posts: 2,959

    @TreemanXD

But 86% are using it. You can turn it like you want. The MAJORITY of survivor is running it.

The pickrate of SC is of the charts… no other perk has a pickrate like that. Not even Ruin or BBQ. SC reigns supreme. That's what it is. And it is picked that often for a reason. It is unbalanced af. And everybody -including the Devs- knows it.

Outside of Decisive Strike? Survivors who think they can actually crawl away from the killer who has slugged them when they should just sit still and recover.

When someone leads the killer to the hook before de-hooking someone and doesn't take the inevitable blow for the person they've just de-hooked to give a chance to esceape

When someone leads the killer past you when your downed using you as a decoy so they can escape.

I only Urban Immersion to a Hook because of Hag Traps. Some run the long distance add-ons and come back asap.
