Pig with full scream build…
Nerf pig.… I’m so sick of seeing pig with this build.. I’ve been getting it all day man. 😭

i don't think UW is op or nothing but man this piggy build is completely stupid.
addons to increase the box search time + UW + hex face the darkness = never being able to remove your trap on a small map or indoor maps. (excluding lery's)
Not that this is something new. Dying in first few minutes to pig traps, myers TS peice, or sadako is a classic stable of solo q.

how about learning to loop a m1 killer? reverse bear traps cannot be used if you do not go down. the nerf pig joke cannot be seriously happening.

Tried it. Its not good compared to other perks / builds. I have come up with way more reliable options and builds over the 2 years and 2k hours i mained her until now.

"may i offer you a wesker" probably my favorite to go against when paying survivor so yeah why now.

Where were you when they killed 50/50 because of bhvr in their wisdom added a ######### iri that wasted traps that basically made the 50/50 game(that could be countered with hatch) with a single survivor gone because of them reworking how the trap boxes work along with them adding a box
Legit I despise the iri tape for that reason because it's dog ######### and it gotten the pig nerfed yet again

The easiest way they could nerf screams interaction with box searching is to not have box search progress reset when interrupted. Like how they changed Doctor's snapping out of it.

Not bait, if you use the scream build, you're cringe. Like the vast majority of pig players are, which is why bhvr has had to nerf pig so many times to kill off the abusive strats that pig players would use.

Lmao, prople try and make a joke killer usefull and they get clapped by devs. I mean the unsolvable box by bodyblock was literally unplayable, but you can literally loop pig for like 1 gen minimum if you are bad at looping, she is an m1 looping them is almost subconcious.

What's with dbd players and defending clearly unhealthy gameplay just because it's weak. If you're focusing on boxes you should never die to a head pop. When there's a build that can outright force a headpop even without direct interaction from the killer to force you off the boxes. That's clearly unhealthy gameplay.

Last pig game I got interrupted 3 times on one box. Ended up dying to the trap.

My build is Stbfl, surge/jolt, BBQ and lethal pursuer. Addons are medical file and combat straps.
I get a head pop almost every thirty game. Fourth at most.
Why?
Because I have 2k hours on her and know her rng.
Players don't need screaming. I never use these perks. I dont need them.
If I want to be extra nasty, I use further slowdown and no info at all.
I created builds way more nasty then those people complain about in my time playing her. And they have nothing to do with screaming.
So am I cringe now because I know how to play her?

What does any of this have to do with the problem of screaming resetting box progress? You hovering someone to prevent them from doing boxes isn't problematic. It's when you don't have to actually interact with them at all with scream perks boxes to farm headpops is the issue.

You don't need to make survivors scream.
You can interrupt them yourself.

But you physically have to be there to interrupt them meaning you can't possibly do something else. Full scream build passively does that for you, giving you plenty of time to do other things

I think it's mainly a problem with the Gear addons that reduce survivors' search speed on the jigsaw boxes. I've gone against Pigs doing FTD builds without those addons and never had a problem, but with those addons it's a different story since she has more time to interrupt you with a scream.

I mean Pig's traps have always been problematic and have had many ways to essentially put survivors in lose-lose situations with them, it's just with her being a low-tier killer people just sorta had to deal with it.
Now I enjoy playing Pig and think she's fun but certain perks and addons with her can just put you in an unwinnable situation against her. Heck at her most basic she can always just put a trap on someone and just follow them the rest of the game so they can't get their trap off and most groups don't know to just leave and let them try for the hatch. Yes the Pig doesn't 'win' but it does ruin the game for the survivor.

That's two perks. If not more.
You wanna know why pig is considered weak?
Her chase. If the killer player invests that much into a gimmick, they are not investing in other (more important) parts of her basekit.
Also. Interrupting them yourself is always the best option. They can't immediately do it again. That's how I get my headpops. I find out the rng, predict survivor pathing and interrupt the survivor with the most searches (that being 4). Two interrupts and a bit of chasing away is more than enough to get them to time out.
Of course you have to chase them in a direction, where they already searched boxes. The time to get up / unhooked and healed (if downed), run back to the box and search it is too much wasted time. Big maps make this even worse.
Interrupting them yourself is way better.
Pig is all about time investment. One headpop is more than enough to turn a match around.
How do you win against her?
Abuse her weaknesses. Play against her like oni. Don't give her first hits and pre drop pallets. Her first down has to be delayed a lot.

Kinda sounds like Tombstone Myers. Except far less effective.
Sadako's with her iri tape is probably worse as well.
