Add stamina to sprinting
As I, a humble killer main was chasing the 2cnd the last survivor around a simple junk loop (the kind made of trash you can see over) i was just burning time while waiting the the other survivor to die on hook. It occurred to me that survivors shouldn't have unlimited sprints. Why? Because chasing someone around a loop gets dull. Make the running have stamina, why? So survivors have higher stakes. It forces them to use the environment and loose you instead of just playing ring-a-round the Rosie's for 5 minutes.

This would break survivor. Looping is the only thing keeping survivor alive for many players. Not a great idea.

Survivors should start the game on hooks in the basement. This way killers might actually be able to get some pressure. It would also be a soft counter to gen rushing.

I wouldn't mind a sprint bar for a perk like mft but for the entire game probably not

Rebalancing every loop in the game to play around a stamina bar would be a gigantic undertaking that is ultimately not worth the effort.
Plus, killers already have a mechanic to further the speed disparity between them and the survivor - Bloodlust. A stamina bar on top of this is complete overkill.

You would have to redesign the entire game by implementing a sprint stamina mechanic and frankly I don't see what it really adds to DBD itself.

It would work if survivors are made faster than killer sprinting would be now 120-130% speed. Killer needs stamina as well. Blight would get tired during middle rush...

Sounds like you want TCM. That's already out and has stamina if you want that type of gameplay.

Mechanic basically exists with blood lust already.

yeah and while we're at it lets remove all survivor perks and make every map saloon
