PC - "Enemies Closer (Remix)" Challenge Is Broken

The "Enemies Closer (Remix)" challenge on the latest tome is not selecting random perks as per its description. Although all of the perks are locked, and a message declares that the perks are being dictated by the challenge, upon starting the trial, all of the perks are as were selected by the player before activating the challenge. This means that the challenge cannot be completed.

Would like to confirm this bug, or at least a similar iteration of it on PS5. If the challenge is not completed in a single run when being set today (10/14/23 Pacific Standard Time), the challenge will not randomize the perks, but keep the initial randomized loadout from the first attempt.

There is a workaround that if you unselect the challenge, equip a different challenge, then equip the challenge again, then it will track progress again.

Can also confirm. On Xbox SX, the first attempt did randomize but no progress was awarded from the match. Second attempt, it did not randomize and instead used my normal loadout and also did not award progress from the match. Third attempt, still did not randomize or reward progress even after using the above workaround.

Love the perk when it works. On that note, how great would a randomized perk option be in general? Would be a fun way to break out of the tried and true and experiment with often overlooked perks.
