Survivor mains, I need your help for a build.

So we can all agree that cenobite has a lot of pressure, right? I want to maximize that. I dont care if its a good or bad build, I just want to build up pressure and control the game as much as possible. I want a build that irritates survivors and can pressure them to the point of making mistakes they usually dont make.

No, I do not aim for a toxic build, I aim for builds that best suit their respective killers.

And here comes my question: which killer perk pressures you the most?

I am not asking for your most hated killer perk, I am not asking for the perk that annoys you the most, I am simply talking about pressure.

Thanks in advance and have a good one.

I guess something like Sloppy Butcher and DMS? So if there is a chain hunt you cannot really do much? Maybe with Ruin undying instead of DMS? And then you need to keep the chain hunt going?

Hex Plaything is really annoying and distracting. Sometimes with Pentimento but this is difficult to really get.

+ Thrill of the hunt, makes the cleansing take longer.

Ultimate Weapon / Face the darkness with DMS.

Jolt / Overcharge can be annoying if the killer is fast with downs.

Nowhere to hide is annoying since you really can´t hide near a kicked gen.

Deadlock, Corrupt, Pain res, BBQ/Sloppy + his purple add-on that makes you have to mend.

Hex plaything, pentimento and devour hope all hexes and I don't main Pinhead but this build is gold when I use it on him give them side objectives that aren't gens or the box. Yes they can ignore plaything but then they don't hear you coming and they are at risk of gen grabs. Pentimentos 1st two hex debuffs slow things incredibly if they do cleanse plaything or devour. Devour if they don't cleanse they suffer from the exposed effect and if they continue to ignore it moried no mattter the hook stage. Basically there will come a point where if they ignore totems in order to not get pentimento which some survivors can be and once they get exposed they will either have to risk chain hunt and cleanse totems before the box or risk the box and chances are you get a down and possibly but very rarely a mori. This might not work agaisnt a good/decent SWF. As for the last perk I don't know.

Lethal Persuer is good for starting a chase early, but on pinhead in particular you can use it to figure out where the box is, to pick it up and start an early chain hunt. The box spawns far away from the survivors, so look in places where the survivors are not. You may want to do a few custom bot games to try to get the hang of where the box spawns relative to survivors using lethal.

I don’t think ruin undying works anymore especially with the nerf ruin got last year which makes it self-destruct once a survivor is dead by any means

I think it would be devour hope that’s the most oppressive perk I go against

    1. you can’t go for hook saves if the perk reaches 3 tokens
    2. you can’t see the totems aura which could have some impact
    3. it allows you to mori any survivor if you reach 5 tokens
    4. pair it with undying and try to keep the chain hunt going so nobody can cleanse the totem
    5. (optional) use ultimate weapon so you can reset a survivor cleansing the totem if they’re on it (and there’s also thrill of the hunt which makes cleansing much slower if a survivor has Calm Spirit)

It sure does, during chainhunt you basically cannot work on gens and if you keep it going it makes the gen regress every time you get hit by a chain, sure it is not as strong anymore, but it still works fine.

I mean it is nice to have a hex that’s ensuring gens are being regressed 24/7 until it’s cleansed but I’m still not a fan of how it self destructs when you do 1/4 out of your main objective

atp just use pain res (like yeah 4 max uses aren’t that good but atleast it benefits you for the majority of the trial) or any other gen regress perk like PGTW

That's not really accurate... depending on hook stages you are way over 1/4 of your game, also when there are only 2 people left the game is basically over already.

Sure pain rez has only 4 charges but regresses up to 100% of a generator, while ruin can potentially do even more. New pain rez is basically a more consistant variant of the old one, less max potential but on average probably more regression than before.

I want a build that irritates survivors and can pressure them to the point of making mistakes they usually dont make.

This really depends on the level of survivors you are facing.

For example: Merciless Storm is a great slowdown perk against less experienced survivors, but it rarely works once survivors get used to the skill checks.

Plaything/Penti fall in here as well, many experienced survivors will just ignore the hex entirely, but it can bring less experienced survivors to an absolute standstill.
