Are Costumes overpriced?
It pretty much impossible to get all costumes for each character, without spending hundreds of Dollars/Euros/etc. into the. Sure, we get "free" content (Killers/Survivors/Maps/Costumes), but it's a grind, especially for costumes and some you can only get with real money. If you pay with real money it's usually around 10 bucks and that is for me a overpriced. I'd totally buy some outfits, but not for that price. Premium outfits, the ones for 1060 AC/21000BP, should be around 2 or 3 bucks at max.
What do you guys think? Are they overpriced and should be lowered?
And before anyone jumps in says "Get a job, you're too poor, etc." I can absolutely buy every outfit no problem. I just choose not too due to overpricing. ;)

While trying to get all characters to Prestige 3 level 50 might be an acceptable level of completionism, I have to wonder why your view on outfits is that you want to get them all. Sure, if that was the intention fo the devs, the outfits should be cheaper, but this isn't a lootbox-style game. You're meant to only buy the skins you want, and the more expensive skins in particular are meant to be somewhat exclusive. A top-end skin costing 10 euros seems acceptable considering the devs made it so you can get all non-licensed characters without buying any DLC at all, and IIRC you only have to level up from level 1 to level 88 to buy a full set of very rare cosmetics (if the ones you want are on sale for shards), and considering there are players out there with devotion 8+ I don't think that's too much.

The main complain is about the prices themselves and if I can get all costumes or not. It was a statement, if someone was going after all, it would be extremely expensive.

I prefer expensive skins to cheap ones. A skin everyone will have/buy because it sounds reasonably priced is meh.
Like real clothing if everyone could afford the best looking clothes they'd lose the wow factor because everyone gets them.
Expensive/Exclusive/Hard to Earn>Affordable

You don't need all the cosmetics... If you can afford it.. on a 20 dollar game.. go nuts.
I don't think you could get all the cosmetics anyways... there some you can no longer get.. so you lost out already... so why bother.

The thing about the pay only cosmetics is they are a choice, if you wish to support the devs buy them if you feel them not worth the money don't.
Cosmetic's are not needed to play the game, imo anything that is not essential to gameplay is never over priced.

I got the game as a ps plus title, and I think overall I spent about 45-50 bucks max on characters and cosmetics together over the months. Everything else I did with shards or events.
I do think though that bhvr would actually make more money off cosmetics (especially those purple tier ones) if they were 3-5 bucks an outfit. 10 dollars for 1 auric cell outfit basically means I would need to really like it for me to drop some money on it (like hit the books Spirit, because she looked like a Ravenclaw instead of a half naked woman or woman in a bathrobe.)

I completely agree. The grind for shards to afford one third of a cosmetic is pretty rediculous The cost of cosmetics come out to about 10 USD a pop and paying for exclusive skins that can't even be ground isn't a very good business practice. The grind for the rift is better, though the latest archive/rift as of August 2020 is pretty disappointing and bland cosmetic wise. I'd personally prefer dlc characters to only be purchaseable through the game stores and auric cells while the shards are edited to be a bit easier to grind for cosmetics. I'm on average a rank 13, so while I'm not the best, I get close to an average shard flow. I also watch a lot of streamers at higher ranks play and they still earn very little for their skill sets and time played. It's still way too little and makes the game seem more like a chore than a rewarding experience.

They are obviously overpriced - a purple outfit costs the same as 2 new characters. 2 characters! Making them so expensive is really bad for business. I only bought one cosmetic with shards when it was on sale, and I don't plan on buying any other. It's just not worth it.
Edit: And don't even get me started about "legendary" skins. They cost 15 bucks! You can buy a few dbd dlcs or even a whole new game with that amount of money. And the skins are far from "legendary" at all.
