What is the point in buying/earning cosmetics if they're just going to disappear?

I started playing DBD again for the Halloween event. So far it's been great fun so I've just been trying different builds on different killers. All good till I went to play a game of Wraith and all my add ons were gone. All of them.

I still had sacrificial cakes.

Also all my killers had reverted back to default cosmetics and had unequiped charms. So I started going through all of them and I swear I'm also missing cosmetics.

I've been playing this game since Clown came out I can't possibly keep track of them all. But if things I buy/earn are going to randomly disappear I'll just play the game for fun and never drop another penny. How does this even happen?

I love your game BHVR but please get your act together, I'm actually very upset.

Did you check the last pages? Because when they cannot be bought through the bloodweb they get moved to the last page of offerings for example, did confuse me as well once.
