Are we ever gonna see perk bloodpoint bonuses again?
Are we ever gonna get a bonus bloodpoint award for using certain perks again or is it just fully a thing of the past now?

Unlikely that we will see more and they will likely continue to phase some out as time goes on. They removed them because they don't want people to take a perk just for the BP bonus, they want the perk to be good on its own.

No and eventually they'll probably all be removed, they've already begun getting rid of them not just with BBQ and WGLF but also with Prove Thyself, Sadako's Videotape Copy addon (in which case it was replaced with a reduction to the TV cooldown), and the medkit addons that used to have them.
The only perks that still have BP bonuses are Beast of Prey, Distressing, Thrill of the Hunt, and No One Left Behind.
It's a good thing they're going away tbh, perks and addons should be good for their actual in-game effects, not inflated by a BP bonus and a BP bonus is also just a lazy way to make something more appealing.

Also the exception to this might stay being the "meme" addons that killers have. The ones that make their power worse in some way but give them a bonus BP amount. They like those not for the BP bonus but the fact that objectively the point is to make your match harder. Sort of like adding a "hard mode" as an optional thing if you want it.

Yeah I miss it on PTS. It was a really decent way to earn BP on survivor. Now the BP I get is abysmal despite looping killer for five generators :<

Those addons admittedly are probably a low priority for them and might stick around for a while but my hope is they’ll all be changed eventually. They did already remove a BP bonus from Sadako’s addon that used to have one. Those addons are a lot more interesting imo if they also give you a benefit for using them and/or drastically change how your power works. Like Plague’s meme addon that makes her unable to infect survivors, or Never Sleep Pills, or Myers’ two mirror addons.
Addons like Padded Jaws and Speed Limiter are just boring since they have no benefit other than BP and I basically never see anyone use them, with the only exception being Wesker’s Jewel Beetle addon which I feel like was intended to be a meme but it’s actually good. And if you want a “hard mode” of sorts, you can kinda already accomplish that by just running fewer or no perks. I do wish we had a killer equivalent of No Mither but idk what that would look like.

If you loop the killer for five generators, you specifically get penalised in BP gains because 'Why didn't you do gens and unhooks? Selfish!'.
On topic: They're going to be removed, which is a really bad idea, because the bonus missions involved in getting the BP bonuses in WGLF and BBQ in particular are really, really, REALLY good for gameplay. Giving secondary win conditions that don't hinge on the other party losing was a stroke of genius.
And then it got killed off.

That gave me a good laugh. 90% of the perks are trash, and devs dont care if theyre good or not.

Why would they go out of their way to remove it just to bring it back? I don't understand why the devs care about it so much, but for some reason they do and I don't see them changing their minds.

Maxing objective easily with prove thyself was fun, it was my fav perk it's such a stupid change, it achieved nothing you have 100 useless/niche perks to buff but no, always ruin the few that are good and fun

laughs at how useless 70% of perks are in dbd. distressing, beast of prey and thrill are useless perks. I don't mean to be complacent but when it comes to perks that are not gen defence or information perks. the perks always nearly always felt underwhelming.
I cannot think of a perk in recent time where i was like, "Wow this is unique perk that i never thought to use but it is good for killer!". The recent good perks dbd killer are like always gen defence/game delay or info. I just wish there was something that was uniquely relevant beyond that for killer. i am just not convinced that many perks in dbd will ever be good on their own. I just see them removing BP on perks as some sort of meaningless standardization that achieves very little towards progressively improving perks.

This was also the main reason why the Perk was used. The Perk Usage dropped a lot after they removed the Bonus and it is probably not because of the 5% of Speed Reduction.
And it did not even help Killers, it just removed an incentive for Survivors to be inefficient.

Probably not, and I certainly hope they stick to their guns in that regard.. While the bp bonus on BBQ was nice to have, it made it feel like you absolutely had to bring it, even if it didn't gel with your build or your character, otherwise you'd be missing out.
If anything, I'd rather they make bp bonuses a normal part of of playing the game. Get a hook as a killer? You can get a stacking +25% bp on each first hook, just like with old BBQ. Safely unhook or heal a survivor? +25% bp for the rest of the match for your first save/heal. Using bp to encourage people to play well seems like a no brainer.
