Are hatchets ever gonna get fixed?

I am sick of being completely covered by an structure and still magically get hit. Is ridiculous to make the right move, play correctly and still get punished because this latency BS always favors the killer. At least half of the hatchets that hit me in a match are not even close to touching me, like huntresses is not strong enough you also have to hope latency doesn't screw you over.

It's not huntress hatchet. It's your/ thalitas hitbox. That and a bit of latency.

The others are correct, this is due to latency and not much due to the hitboxes. On the killers side they likely saw that hatchet hit much more cleanly. I know it can feel like Huntress fires homing beachball-sized hatchets that creep around corners, but that's the surv pov being a tad behind.

yeah that happens, like they say most likely thanks to the latency you or the killer are playing with, if u live in a country far from the dedicated servers most likely you are gonna face a lot of unfair hits with all killers, if thats not the case, welp... just the diferent ping between the killer and the survivor.

This happens to me a lot and it’s not my latency or ping it’s the killers. It’s definitely unfair but I’ve not heard Devs say anything tangible they can do to fix it.

This looks more like a server latency/player lag issue than anything. Sure the hatchet hitboxes are bigger than the actual model but in reality on the killers end it looked probably more like this. Red is your hitbox (on the killers end) and yellow is the hatchets While blue is what the hitbox for a survivor would look like normally while sprinting.

Funny, in my experience latency usually favors the survivor (making it hard to predict with the erratic movement and teleports).

Also, if it happens that often maybe the issue is not on the killer's side.
