Now that the Plague is out, my theory is 100% confirmed...
Someone at BHVR has a foot fetish.
There are now 6 female killers (not counting Legion) and all but 1 have bare feet. The 1 that has shoes is a licensed killer so we can toss that. Furthermore, the Wraith also has bare feet. Now look at how detailed their feet are. JUST LOOK! The amount of effort put into to doing the modeling and texturing is WAY above what one would consider acceptable for a foot. It's crazy!
@not_Queen Just admit it... someone at your company (probably an artist) has a serious attraction to feet.

It may honestly just be design choices. What are we gonna put hag in, loafers? Clogs for plague and sandals for spirit? Most male killers wearing boots or shoes makes sense. As it does with amanda.
Wraith has no shoes either.
But if they do have a fetish, why would they need to tell their players about it? It is kinda their personal business.
Now if we get a killer that sticks their feet in a survivors mouth for a mori, or like, super dirty but shiny feet, yeah, it's probably a fetish.

Some have sandals and stuff I think that still counts. It seems like the devs go out of their way to have a reason to not put shoes on survivors. I think none are barefoot just because they don't want it to be too obvious.
