It would be a pretty neat gimmick for Chucky, considering he doesn't really have a signature weapon, if he could wield the knives of other killers.
The classic kitchen knife could be his default and the Myers stand-in without being tied to a Halloween license, then you have the Clown, Legion and Trickster knives as cosmetic weapons.

To be fair, re-releasing an older chapter literally right before a new one, that is supposedly a Licensed chapter, is also a bold move.

The chair is for Chucky to climb on to and take Myers knife. The other knives belong to Trickster, Clown and GF I think.

Just throwing in Hannibal (known to use different knives) and Norman Bates. Both used kitchen knives at some point, would fit with the other three killers (all serial killers, which is a pretty loose connection for this genre) and would be pretty big licenses in the horror genre.
i don’t think it’s one of them and leaning towards Chucky as well. Hopefully original and not the remake/modern series version..

Not to mention Legion's default knife is much smaller than Wesker's.. That's a Combat Knife (WE-004). Little too big and hefty for Legion's taste.. xD

Yeah. And Guys like David run away from killers like Suzie or Victor. It’s nothing new. Killers are strengthened by the Entity, and Chucky still has voodoo magic in some way doesn’t he?

Yeah. Personally I'd run away from Chucky before I'd run away from Victor lmao. First of all Victor moves so fast I wouldn't even have a chance to get away, but seeing a doll move from where I put it... I'm gone..lol.

By that logic, Jill Valentine killed and beated every time she saw Nemesis but yet in game she need to run.
And Chucky is not stupid if you watched movies. He knows how to deal with these "big guys".

Considering those are from the only four knife-wielding Killers, and someone took one from a knife rack, it has to be Chucky. I can't think of why anyone else would have to steal or find a weapon like Chucky would given how small he is, and out of all of them it being Myers' kitchen knife?
If it's not Chucky, then I have zero idea who else stole kitchen knives.

Sure seems like Chucky is likely, but man, I'm not sure how that would work mechanically.
I remember when they had to change Blight's POV because people hated being that low all game, this would be miles worse unless they do something really creative (which would almost certainly have to be non-canonical).
As others have mentioned, it's also quite possible this is not related to the new killer and is a Myers re-work.
I'm of mixed feelings here, because I like Chucky as a character, but can't see him working in the the DBD format.

There are six; Wesker and Ghostface are also knife wielders, and weren't represented in the teaser.
I was going to say that the knives were only from re-worked killers, but GF also got a notable re-work. So who knows.

HAHA.. I've just been playing on the Predator thing for weeks. Predator would be an honest stretch lore wise as they only "hunt" or "kill" for sport. The Survivors are unarmed so Predator would have no reason to even go after them. xD

Very hard to say, an out there theory i have is it leans towards Predator as the knives belong to people who are "predators" in one way or another in the way they kill, and it's an invisible predator looking at michaels weapon perhaps?
