If Chapter 30 isn't Chucky or Springtrap, who else could it be?

The teaser for Chapter 30 dropped earlier today, showing a magnetic knife holder, with one knife missing and based on the silhouette it's a large kitchen knife.

Now for various reasons Chucky and Springtrap are the top guesses for this new killer, mainly Chucky in specific. But if it isn't one of these two, who else could fit the bill of using a kitchen knife and consideree "a capital L" licensed killer

I find it genuinely funny that Trickster, Clown and Legion are the only original killers with knives. Like that is very small number for a game like dbd, especially when knives are among the more popular weapons when it comes to killing

Honestly Springtrap isn't a real contender.

I'm somebody that would like to have him but to tease him with a kitchen knife which is something he hasen't used at all untill the recently released movie in which he had it for like 5-10 minutes would be a horrible way to tease him.

Outside of Chucky though, i have no idea who else it could be. Especially with talk about how this is a big L licence.

All other things i can think of aren't big licences

Well, it could be Chucky. This looks like a Trickster, Clown and Wesker knife. I don't think that's Legion's. I think it's to throw people off, I don't see why it wouldn't be Predator. Though I could see Chucky since it will be just a killer release. Idk...

I think this teaser is a red herring. It seems odd to me that we've got Legion's Knife, Clown's Knife, Trickster's Knife and what appears to be the silhouette of Myers' Knife. This doesn't seem like it would be a very good way to tease Chucky, and it's definitely not Springtrap.

Kitchen knives have been used by many slashers. If we didn’t have Myers or Ghost Face those would be contenders i guess. Next to Chucky, there is Norman Bates and Hannibal Lecter which would both be pretty big in the horror genre.

a missing knife on the knife block is pretty much a trope in the slasher genre at this point, and it could be some kind of red herring and teasing someone entirely else. Though I can’t see how this would tie to Predator or Vecna for example, both of which where very popular guesses.

Isnt that just Myers knife thats missing?

I cant comprehend how that'd point to anything except maybe a myers rework and a skin for the newer movies.

I mean year 4 was pyramid head and the hint was the shape of the 4... maybe were just thinking too hard.

Chucky isn't a big license too. At least no where near Alien license.

    Honestly...

How in the hell, looking at this picture, you're saying it's Springtrap...? He has nothing to do with any knives or anything at this picture.

Nothing in this picture showing ANYTHING about Springtrap.

Chucky is a big licence, denying that is honestly silly.

Not only was he standing with the other 90's horror icons he's also unlike most of them still relevant today. First half of the 3th season of his tvshow aired just last month.

It's underandable to say that Chucky is not your cup of tea but to say he isn't big is delusional. He outlasted the other horror icons by quite a margin

He's honestly one of the biggest ones they didn't have yet outside of Friday the 13th
