Deathslinger buff

First of all, I'm VorneX and my favorite and main assassin is the Deathslinger and I'm going to tell you a little about my experience with him.

Report from a player who would like to present an alternative buff to enhance the Deathslinger character. Firstly, let's discuss your biggest problem currently, which is your very large terror radius.

• Current Movement Speed is 4.4 m/s;

• Current terror radius is 32 meters;

• Ideal terror radius would be 24 meters;

• Implementation of a lullaby;

• Lullaby from 32 to 40 meters;

Firstly, a killer like the Deathslinger needs to be stealthy to be effective and a terror radius of 32 meters on a killer moving at 4.4 m/s is very damaging, as the survivors already know that the killer is nearby and are already starting to steal away. hide or run, making the hunt for the killer much more difficult. In all my experience with this killer, I always depended heavily on one advantage (Monitor and Abuse) to get closer to the survivors. A buff that would really make this killer more viable would be reducing the terror radius from 32 meters to 24 meters with a lullaby (It could be between 32 and 40 meters). This in addition to making the assassin more stealthy and effective would also result in different combinations of add-ons and perks, making it a fun option for players. This would not affect the character's balance, as the survivors would still know that the killer is close, leaving both sides balanced. That would be his biggest problem currently, complements are well balanced and the power doesn't have much to change either. I think this could be implemented without major problems in the game. I'm open to discussions.

    Deathslinger certainly needs a change i don't see him often in my survivor games but when i do hes usually utterly stomped on even in solo que.

    His terror radius did use to be smaller but they change dit

    I agree that Slinger needs a buff, but I feel like these changes would strip a little bit of what makes him really special. I love Slinger because he stands out and does things very differently from the other range killers.

    -28m is a good compromise between his the 24m and 32m TR (OG 24m + Monitor was kinda miserable to play against and is one reason why a lot of players still really dislike playing against him, [aside from quickscope] but I agree that he is too announced with his current 32m). This TR size also wouldn't necessitate a lullaby unlike a 24m.

    -His lack of lullaby allows stealth perks like Tinkerer, Dark Devotion, and Trail of Torment to shine whereas the other range killers can't use stealth perks very effectively. This compounds with him being able to use M1 perks to make expose perks really deadly. You haven't experienced peak Slinger gameplay if you haven't tried Trail + Dragon's Grip. It's one of the funniest things you can do in this game.

    -His main issue is taking too long to finish chases. Reeling survivors and the constant reloading is super time consuming on top of moving slower and I think increasing his base reel speed & reload would make him both better and better to play in a non-obtrusive way. Gold Tooth and Ammo Belt being made basekit wouldn't affect his chase potential much at all and are rather mild so I don't see a major issue with it.

    Would like to see your thoughts on my thoughts on your thoughts.

    I agree with some things, but I think what really hurts me is the horror radius and the kit add-ons would be really good. Thank you for the tips.
