If I get stunned by a pallet should I stop chasing the survivor?

It takes so long to catch up to a survivor if they manage to stun you is it better to just find someone else to chase?

Depends, if you are in a corner and survivor stunned you while in that corner, chase, try always to make that you are in the good position.

Also, try bait. Go close to a pallet and look down, survivor could think you are breaking it and run so you can react to it.

Also depends of the killer you are playing.

    Usually who do you use?

Totally depends. For example, are you getting stunned after a few loops, and the surv is really wasting your time? Or is it your first chase they just dropping every pallet right away? In the former case you might be throwing to keep chasing, but in the latter case you can win the game by letting them feed you their resources.

I would argue that knowing when (and being willing) to drop chase it probably the most important aspect of killer game sense, but being stunned by a pallet isn't some sort of sure sign of when that point is. It's a sense that only comes with time.

getting stunned with a pallet doesn't change anything on whether you need to leave the chase or not. there are definitely times you need to leave your chase but pallet stuns generally aren't that.

Heavily depends. Is there another survivor nearby? How much distance did the survivor you were chasing get? How good in chase are they? Do you have any perks that would still give you more value in continuing the chase?

If a survivor is really good in chase it can usually be a good choice to change target anyhow.

If it's your 10th pallet you may want to consider it.

Maybe? Maybe not? It takes a lot of practice in developing your game sense to learn the right time to drop chase.

I think it also depends how you want to play. Personally, I run a pallet eating build on my Legion and usually do not respect pallets at all (Enduring + Julie's Mix tape + maybe Brutal Strength or the Iridescent Button if I feel like it).

My basic strategy is to choose the area where I want to patrol the map, then chase Survivors to burn through all the available resources as quickly as possible (while also managing gen defense). That way they become easy pickings in the late game.

I'm not familiar with Wesker, so I can't give you any specific advice there. But I will say Enduring is a pretty good chase perk on most Killers.

Many maps come with 10 palets of even less. If he ate 10 pallets, he should definitly go for the survivor he is chasing, since the whole map is dead.

As others have said, there are so many different factors:

-how long would it take to chase someone else? Are you by gens you are defending?

-does the survivor seem to want to be chased?

-after stunning you is the survivor heading to another strong area?

-is the survivor wounded? would catching them eliminate them from the game?

-what killer are you playing? Getting stunned and losing distance impacts killers differently.

    Etc.

Try standing at the pallet and charge your power.

It looks very similar to breaking a pallet.

You can catch many survivors off guard with that.

Easiest rule I know is it to think about which side of the pallet you're on.

Before you break it, you want to try and ensure the survivor is on the side that doesn't connect to nearby tiles. Herd them to the side that is less favourable before you break.

If you can't do that cause of tne tiles structure just break it and move on to find someone else.

This is a GREAT point. If the survivor keeps throwing pallets and running to the next one, then you might actually want to keep chasing them, especially if you're a killer who can break a pallet with your face (Blight, Demo, etc.) or can break them and lose little momentum like with a Tier 2 Nemesis.

I still remember a game on Borgo as Nemesis where I had gotten to tier 2 quickly and was chasing a Thalita. She threw a pallet and I broke it, then she ran to the next one and I broke that one, and the pattern just repeated. By the time I got her down, she had thrown pretty much every pallet on the map. Then she DC'd when she went down. Game went pretty badly for the remaining survivors, since they had very little to work with after that.
